Axe/sword = Frenzy
Hammer = Flail
Lots of reasons for this, try hammer with frenzy and axe with flail to find out.
Although I have used flail/rush on a WE scythe and liked it quite a bit.
Personally I hate frenzy, but only because it drains my energy quickly when combined with constant bull's strike.
This is probably the most interesting to play warrior build out there:
[primal rage][rush][bull's strike][savage slash][sever artery][gash][sun and moon slash][shock]
Savage slash for res signet in RA, but savage slash is one of the best parts of it.

ok so I've gotten to level 11 and like the game a lot, but I also want to play a hammer warrior. What is THE PvP/GvG hammer warrior build out there? So maybe I will only need 1 expansion for all the skills.
Also, is it just me or is Enraged Smash better than Bulls Strike and has a lower cooldown time.

On the subject of swords, I do love cripslash but ive broken out [["coward!"] again for a bit and I'm loving it.
[sever artery][gash][standing slash][savage slash]["coward!"][frenzy][rush][resurrection signet]
Although I like Sun and Moon, Standing costs less adrenaline and so means I can often hit coward again much sooner. Also, for 6adren you get +38dmg which is pretty nice.
some variants:
[[standing slash] - [[sun and moon stash]
[[rush] - [[sprint]
[[resurrection signet]/[[savage slash] - [[shield bash]/[[conjure lightning][[lion's comfort]/[[enraging charge]
all good clean fun.

on a side note, FOR PVE u should only use Flail, regardless of what weap ur running.
Under frenzy:- NEVER spam it on recharge
Cancel if ur taking heavy dmg or getting spiked.. or about to for sure.
Do not cancel just cuz u got hit by a low recharging skill
Rush isnt there just as a cancel stance... infact, half the time u use rush.

Hah, what a coincidence! I've been taking Coward out for a spin as well. What's the deal with Coward being associated with Swords anyway? It's essentially an adrenal Bull's, worked equally well on my Axe bar

are elite skills not available to everyone? I just know you can only equip one elite skill at a time.

Yes, he's just pointing out that you'd need to sacrifice your elite slot for enraged smash. I played with it for a while in AB, it's fun but runs you out of energy. Seen other people using it.
Don't like magehunters, the unblockable is surprisingly weak compared to dev's lower cost and inherent melee shutdown. By melee shutdown I mean that if you see a sin in RA, you hit him with dev and he's suddenly useless due to weakness.
I already posted the GvG devhammer build, it's earlier in the thread along with a bunch of things to fill optional slots on hammer bars.

Here is how you frenzy, you use it. If you are uncertain if you should be in frenzy, you should be in frenzy. If you are chasing a target then obviously you need IMS, if you are getting hit hard then obviously you need to not be in frenzy. Those cases are certainties. When you are learning, play dangerously. Otherwise you will never know just how far you can push things.
Also flail is bad in pve. Unless you like walking in flail between targets, rushing then swapping back to flail puts you two auto attacks away from using an adrenal skill for each and every single mob.
