Title says it all, getting sick of people who keep saying this as if they are the best player ever. Hightailing it in the other direction to not get killed and not award the other team free points is the exact opposite of noobishness.

I've gone 5 games in a row now without a death cause I run when I know I CANT win, why would you want to try win a fight when you know you can't? Anyway thats just my little rant

In the future if you have problems with runners just bring freaking cripple, its not that hard.

The concept of kiting to mitigate damage is as old as the game. Be happy that they don't understand that and work on your self esteem aka listen to Rhamia Darigaz.

Kiting is one of the better ways to stay alive, imo

You should have really mentioned where you are running. In AB sure there are both upsides and downsides. The upside is that you do not give them any points and many idiots keep chasing you rather than capping. The downside is that if you are running you will not have max health and max energy. Since it is such a small place you can easily find yourself in another battle anyway. Unless you have a monk of course but then if you had a good one there would be no need to run.

On the other hand runners in RA are complete idiots. If you have no chance of winning them give up and go die rather than wasting the rest of the game (could be 4 mins) running away.

However i don't see why people are calling you that in AB or whatever. I don't see many people complaining there, only RA.

in RA i can see how this is an issue. if somoene ever does it onmy team i convince my team to report them for leeching.

thank god i only play RA in korean dist so all (well... 80% of the time) i get are the "pros" of RA

Kiting is the only prot that reduces all damage and is 0 energy, and doesn't take a skill slot. i think it sounds pro

theres a difference between running and kiting.
if your running away from damage your are kiting
if your are running to grief other people or any reason other than avoiding damage you are running and are a noob

You can run to deal damage. It's called chasing though, and some call that lame.
