Ah, yes. I PUG once in a while, very rarely, because me pointing out that it's not a good idea to mob is met with a 'stfu'. Therefore, I group with people I can poke if need be. Glad to hear you've found an AB group that you can trust, and glad to hear you're enjoying it! Don't fret about the stinking too much, you're aiming to get better and believe me that's better than at least half the people I've met on AB.

PUGging is quite ok when you do it the right way. Make mental notes on your team members during each round and drop after the match if there are too many inept players. Eventually you'll get to know a number of good players and if you're of the same caliber they'll most likely introduce you to their friends and so on. Also, if you are alone try to find a guild team that needs somebody of your profession. It will take longer than jumping to the first random invite but the prospects are much better.

My current problem is that after maxing Luxon I've switched sides but not alliance, so the only way to play some AB is to get guest invitations and the only way to get them is to know people and pretty much the only way to do that is to play AB. So, if any of you Kurzick players happen to be missing one team member (at this point any prof is ok for me) and I'm online then feel free to ask (I'll pay the invite back) since I'm most likely haunting JQ and able to jump in at short notice

Why do french people suck at AB, this is upsetting me.

American: dance on the stage, talk in local, say LFG + GLF and make balanced parties

French: Don't ever talk, don't say LFG, invite 100 people and go instantly with the first 4 who add, don't work as a team, just run around randomly.

Germans: Somewhere in between american and french, talk in local/team but don't really use good builds.

I used to think Euros were better than Americans at online games, but experience has shown me the opposite.. so WTF.

Playing with french people vs. americans is a bit surreal.

There's a player on the luxon side named something like Ici icici lol last or something...

He's on AB litererally every time I'm there (and I play ab a lot), just inviting 100 people, every single person there, then instantly going with the first 4. That's the french way, but this is even worse. Got invited by him today, actually went because there was a monk in the 4... thought hey this can't be too bad... but it was.

Then he just sat in the base (accompanied by the monk) and committed suicide with health sacrifice spells, who never really moved after start. We lost 500-7. Somebody was asking if he was a bot before...

Is there any decent way to report somebody like that ? He does this constantly, almost every time I play he's there doing this or generally being worthless.

Battlerage's 19 seconds of 33% IMS turned out to be very useful in keeping me from dying (ever) that round, with large mobs and no team backup.

You can beat necros by not triggering there curses :3. Also lol @ hexstackers, One necro can usually shut down at least 2 melee. If they are failing to do that then its not really a difficult kill.
