Warrior Test Build
This is a new build I created
It sometimes works really well
but most of the times,
it doesn't..
Hope you guys can help tweak it
& improve it.
(P.S - it works great in PvE with heroes & such)
Build: [Sword, Hundred Blade]
- Glyph of Lesser Energy
- Conjure Flame
- Mark of Rodgort
- S&M Slash
- Hundred Blade [e]
- Frenzy
- Rush
- Rez Sig, Lion's Comfort, For Great Justice
The biggest downside in my opinion,
is that the recharge time on the Glyph is long.
Also, if no monk on the team
I would die easily.
I tried to consider using Tactics skills
or Water/Earth skills to keep me alive
but that isn't going well with me.
ex: [The skills possible]
- Armor of Frost
- Armor of Mist
- Armor of Earth
- Magnetic Aura
- Silver Armor
- Stoneflesh Aura
- Wary Stance
- Protector's Defense
- Disciplined Stance
- Defensive Stance
- Bonetti's Defense
- Shield Stance
I realize that ultimately,
this has a high chance of not working
but its still a try.
Any advice, hints, criticism woud help a ton
thx.

Things like mark of rodgort are awesome in theory but in practise the target will be protted and all that investment you've put into the target has been wasted. You're better off swapping targets a lot in an effort to avoid prot than to try and force entry onto a single opponent.
Deep wound is your friend, it makes the difference between alive people and dead people. It takes away roughly 100 hp off of the enemies health total in a single blow, not including the damage the actual attack does itself.
Since you're dropping mark of rodgort, you wont need glyph of lesser energy and you will be able to take skills that actually focus on what the warrior excells at, getting kills. Knock downs, interupts, snares, enchant removals and damage attacks are what you should be looking at when making a warrior build.
Bulls Strike, Savage Slash, Shock, Grasping Earth etc. All 5 energy easily managable skills for the warriors measly 2 pips of energy regen that work wonders to complement the high dps and burst damage of the warrior.

like scruffy said just stick to warrior like skills, skills for Deep Wound etc. If you like to do burning and such play ele. Also your energy wouldnt allow the use of all those spells. The only ele skills that work good on warriors are shock and conjure spells (maybe grasping earth as a snare) but thats about it.

Hmm... Conjure + Hundred Blades is good, but I would suggest taking out Glyph of Lesser Energy and Mark of Rodgort and put in Sever Artery and Gash for Deep Wound.
Dieing is typically what happens when you have no monk on the team. Self-heals can only take you so far...

i have been playing a PVE warrior now for 4 years and there are 3 definite skills that i have come across over that time that i will put on almost every skill bar now. "Flail", "Enraging charge" & "for great justice". like everyone else has stated take away the ele skills and look for maybe a paragon skill which will synergize well with a warrior. however if you are in love with the ele secondary you could benefit from the armor/defensive Earth attribute line instead of the fire attribute line.

This is the gladiator's arena, so I assume this build is meant for pvp. And in pvp, flail, enraging charge and fgj arent very good on a sword warrior (or in pvp for fgj).
As are paragon's skills.
Mark and glyph are kinda weak and easily put out. Sever artery and gash are the best skills to use instead of mark and glyph, since it will add bleeding and deep wound, which should be in every warrior build.
