Thanks for the read. I've been running a weekly HA group out of my guild for a long time, and despite a core of about half a dozen people who'll play HA, I can't guarantee that the same people will show up each time. Additionally, I'm one of only about 2 or 3 of us who watches HA on Observe, and thus often the only person in the group who has seen the different maps in play.
As a result, once the group gets warmed up enough to work as a team and scores a couple of wins, the group finds itself on one of the higher maps. We lose because the players are so confused by the map, they lose focus as a team. I wish I had a nickel each time I explained that the relic maps are NOT about killing the other team, but are about running relics. I wish I also had a nickel for every time the same players I explained this to at the beginning of the match and who've been on relics in the past have said, "So what we want to do is chain runners, with some sort of monk support, while others block. Kill their ghostly if we get behind."
I, for one, thank you for your efforts here!

although this strategy doesn't work well for everyone it does work for a majority of people...
ever wondered why many group leaders are the biggest @ssholes you ever met?... some thats their personality.... many realize that acting this way actually might make the team listen to them...
even the best teams lose without proper leadership... as a group leader you have to reaffirm your position as the group leader and demand they listen.... one warning though this is a one way trip to being called an @sshole by others.. but some don't care because they will win by whatever it takes .... the reason i say this is because maybe your friends are too comfortable playing under your leadership to care about the consequences of not listening.... i don't know if i should be recommending this but act mean to them.... get them to focus .... it works most of the time

QFT, when you rage alot, assuming U can still get a team, people WILL listen better. I know, been there, done that
I used to start runs by saying:
"Ok, if you f*ck up, I f*ck you up" (By f*cking up, I meant not listen to calls)Usually followed by:
"If I say you're an idiot, you're a f*cking idiot, now stfu and don't f*ck up"...
People listened 99% of the time. The only people that I've now not to follow direct calls, are r9+ pugs who are used to playing without vent, equipping a hammer/scythe. But then again, who cares about those, right?

Be aware of things that is going on and if you want to improve, push yourself and ignore others. That's the strategy for HA. GG. I win thread.
