Lol ... yesterday, in addition to the Searing Flames Elementalist bots and Channeling Monk bots I ran into on Incendiary Arrows Ranger bot who held on to the flag and never dropped it or capped it (but still cspaces Monks!) in spite of his bow attacks. Reported to ANet, the answer is the same: screenshots and game logs do not show any evidence of hit being a bot.

How ... ridiculous.

PS: @Wish Swiftdeath - of course it affects me. I get these bots in games so often and I have to leave teams because of it. How can you say it doesn't affect me?

Now, it's been reduced to shit watching these botters pick up rank 4+ without even F***ING PLAYING! That's called BULLS***! You apperently are in support of cheaters, aren't you Still Number Zero? You're probably among the ones that /report those that /report the botters, aren't you? You probably play your ass off ESPECIALLY when you identify a botter on your team because you're just plain ass-backwards when it comes to Morality and Principles. Just faced a (very likely) tripple TA bot team, where only the monk was the real player. I must say that a rupt AI mes with Psychic instability and 5 other rupts is pretty broken... :S

SO I was playing in ID as usual... was playing BA turret post-nerf version.

Up against a fairly balanced team, consisting of a monk, mes, war, and necro.

My team was good enuff to wipe every one of em except the mes with his rez sig used. I manage to get the mes down to 20-30 hp before going down, and our Vow of Strength derv was @ full HP chasing the mesmer right on his tail very close.

Then he starts casting enches, while the mes is getting away. I tell him...

Me: "Dude wth stop casting enches just chase him and 1 hit does it"
DB Hammer: "..."
He keeps casting enches whenever they lasted their duration. Eventually mes recovers and degens him down (hes a migrane mes), derv doesnt have an IMS.
Me: "You dumbass coulda won if you just chased him"

Derv never replied.

After a few rounds I see him again, on the other team. I was playing DB hammer. I lineback his ass, and he casts the same enches in the same order.

See him again and again in the same 10 win run... I told the enemy team "You guys have a derv bot, good luck" everytime i saw him. He has maybe 450 HP and no armor insignias.

Under the name of "I Have Never Lost" make sure you report him. He (i mean It) has reached G2 already.

Curious - I remember that name clearly from a couple of years ago, when the same guy would say something like: 'Do you support or oppose abortion? Please state your opinion' before matches, apparently in an attempt to cover up the fact that he is a bot. Some time after that it changed to something like 'I am going to the most [consecutive?] hours played in Guild Wars, already reached 10k hours'. And then after that ... he just disappeared, and I never played with him again. I thought he was banned.

Anyway I recognize another guy I Nona I as a bot, but nobody else seems to think so. Last time I met her I was on 5 wins. I saw her and left. After that one of my teammates messaged me and told me she's not a bot because she said 'plz res me' when dead, then 'thanks' when ressed, and that he himself owns a bot that farms Icy Dragon Swords. Apparently what the bot does is create itself a new account (how?), then create a new character, and then farms the IDS'es until its eyes bleed. He didn't elaborate, but he said bots necessarily do not have guilds, and accused me of being too headstrong and stubborn to see that she's not a bot.

Curious ...

how can you tell if someone is a bot? i play random arenas regularly and i have never come across someone that i've suspected of being a bot.

Run in certain lines, run back and forth between players like henchman do and spam word of healing on recharge upon themselves when not taking damage(yes i saw one today - their team just gave up because they knew it was a bot too).

Ele's are harder to tell because they are so brainless to play atm (with regards to mind blast and searing flames).

^Haha. Mindless ele builds has just gotten epic. I've seen ele botters used Distortion on recharge while spamming Mind Blast on the nearest target. And it gave my team a bit of problem since all 3 of us are physicals except the monk.

I don't really care, the title is for me personally - the only time i lose to them is when my team is retarded so i probably wouldn't have made ten wins anyway.

As soon as the G12 tries to get into a TA team or GvG his teammates will realise he's bad and boot him

It's RA bro. No one cares. I've seen a few bots, but they're really bad. They're almost as bad as RA players.

I honestly don't care what glad rank someone is unless they are on my TA team, and i can tell pretty quickly whether or not they earned their rank.

Beat this. Just happened yesterday, and no, not a bot (or so ANet says).

There is a RA map modelled on the style of Isle of Weeping Stone, with giant mushrooms and all. On one side of the map there is a rock at the entrance. The rock can bodyblock you at the start, it's done that to me quite a few times.

Yes. I Nona I gets bodyblocked by the rock. She's bodyblocked for almost 3 minutes while the rest of her team dies 3v4. She doesn't move because we fight outside her range, and she stays bodyblocked. She's not AFK because she's casting, putting up Fire Attunement and casting Glyph of Lesser Energy, but she's not moving. Then her team wipes, and we approach her, and she starts casting her offensive spells.

Too bad game logs prove she's not a bot.

I think I'm going to post this elsewhere asking directly the obvious question.

HOW CAN THIS NOT BE A BOT???
