Basically all the classes have some use somewhere, the meta changes with skill nerfs/buffs but it's basically exactly the same as it always was.
Make a paragon, win gvg because most of the better gvg builds have 2x paras these days.

either that or now Ele prisms are the meta so eles would probably be the best right now

I don't remember the last time i saw a paragon being used in RA/TA/HA/AB/HB, so i wouldn't call it versatile..

Rangers hands down. well atleast in a GvG match seeing as they can be any where and be effective (base defending, spiking at main team, ganking).

Hey! We still use them in HA. There's also some paraspikes that still go around. Every now and then I see an ultra defensive-balance with DA in it.
