Really? So you play RA in AD and frequently see trash builds? That makes me sad So far, RA has been a blast for me. I'd hate to think I've just been lucky.
Now, FA/JQ OTOH is full of lameness. The builds are usually Pvx variants, but the players are often pants. I can play a CE/IP Necro in FA and never die because my opponents are constantly attacking through IP.

I have my r3 glad (monument) so the update isn't going to be noticed much by me, the 5 points I got after the update and it wasn't much more difficult or easier than normal, well, maybe a little easier...

People are still synching in RA, so I say Anet screwed up again. Sure, people have a harder time synching an entire four person team, but the griefers can still synch 2-3 people teams to piss people off. Just fought a team with two A/Rts with Lively was Naomi + Shadow of Haste +Shadow Meld. We murdered them, but the time ran out, one of them was still alive, and one of ours never loaded. We lost. Anet can shove it with their fixes.

I faced two rtl eles in RA today who both attacked the same target and had the same tag. Furthermore, when I thanked them for abusing the que system (facetiously, of course), they pmed me back to accept my "gratitude."
However, that is the only sync team I think that I've faced since RA started, so that's not too bad. I do hope they can add something to randomize entering order instead of this easily abused que system before or as a part of the big update though.

I don't get it. First the syncing situation was bad. ANet comes along with a fix that reduces the number of syncers, but does not eliminate it entirely. Yet some people are still mad.
What, exactly, do you want ANet to do, stop syncing entirely? If yes, how? How about stop people with the same tags and / or have each other on their friend's list from getting into the same team? If so, have you never had the good fortune to get a friend on the same team, just by chance? Remove that too?
If you're so unhappy, suggest a fix. If you can't suggest a fix, then shove it with the complaining.

Uh, it's been suggested countless times. You know, randomize. Since it's called random arena and all. Conceptually, it's not a difficult fix. But the fact is, it's an extra operation that the server will have to perform perhaps millions of times per week and will therefore hurt A.net's bottom line.
All in all, it's still pretty facetious to claim that synching has been "fixed" when it clearly hasn't, and hope people won't notice.

Would it be too difficult to simply randomise the queue instead of having it on a join in the order u sign up kind of basis, for example when the amount of people in the queue hits 20 or whatever the list is randomised before the game starts or something like this

It's theorycrafting, and most of the suggestions are just that. Suggestions. Thanks for your contribution, though. It really added a lot to the thread.
OT, I haven't seen any syncs so far, and I think the declaration by ANet saying they abolished syncing has stopped many people from even trying again.

Supposedly it already is... but if there's just 4-5 people joining in a given 30-second window...

exactly, what are you gonna do, make them wait another 30? and what about the 4 people on the other team, who might be legit non-syncers, make them wait for an opponent as well? people will get sick of the timer restarting and just want the match to begin.

Of course I rarely saw syncs before the update, so an individual's anecdotal evidence is hardly proof. Give it a week or so, not everyone is that dumb.

Here is a relatively simple solution.
When a person presses enter battle, make them wait for a random of 1-5 seconds before the actual timer starts. (could be longer to make it more "random") This way, the syncers are not next to each other on the queue to enter battle, making it harder to sync.

You know what's even more annoying than RA syncs? The fact that I now end up playing on american servers 50% of the time having shitty ping. If getting a streak wasn't already hard enough with all the scrubs running 8 hexes on their bar and an uninterruptable sinchain and blockstances with 100% uptime.
Revert this "sync fix" please, I want to be able to interrupt your beloved hexfagotry again. If that means running into some nH sync in ra once in a while so be it.
I'm getting dangerously close to leaving this game as so many before me. Anet fix your damn game. Stop buttonmashingmadness and hexfactory. Thanxxx.
