i agree that the intro of the sin changed the game for the worse, and in regards to guild wars 2 i just hope there is pvp at all at this rate

increase recharge on lightning reflexes, increase recharge on escape but also increase duration so its not as spammable when ever you feel like it.

blind duration of traps 5 pulses of 10 second aoe is just too long imo, with 2 dust traps , mingson, 2 shadows, smoke trap, shadowsong, is really rediculous also not even counting the blocks they have

I can't even find this build on obs right now. Flash in the pan? I'm sure it will still be around, but it should see more play if it was really that strong.

this is only the beginning, you will see it more and more i can guarentee that unless theres an update of course.

one question though, what build countered the old sway? or was there an update that made the meta switch to a new build?

The update that gave us the even easier to play dual Palm Strike + Lingering + Savannah + 4 backline teams.

But I really miss the old Sway. Real easy to slot in bladeturn refrain and then watch as the rangers did about 30 damage with an attack skill.

Terrible just terrible....

The dagger chain is already bad and now it's super fast without an IAS...

To the person that said this build is just a flash in the memory... Go to ID1 you see the R/As forming SWAY!!!

My friend Abs (He's the insanely haxorz low rank prot that runs with nwa) said: I feel sorry for the prot and the infuse healing against this shit build...

Ok things I see from today's HA run...

You have escape and lightning reflexes - Perma 75 block against and +100 vs elemental damage makes them relatively "tanky" Not to mention the uber fast attack without an IAS


With a shitload of interupt spam and exhausting strike, the backline will get caught by at least 1 sooner or later. Every time the backline is completely stomped by the daze+interupts+exhaustion. Not to mention the spirits also. Also wanding is not easy as it seems (Look at what borat said, our caller got pretty pissed when he told us to wand but you know we couldn't)

The incredi-blind from mingson 2 dust traps 2 smoke traps shadow song on top of the 75% permablock is just soo......... No word to describe this bullshit\

Forgot to mention the warmongers -.-;

Only thing that I see that has a CHANCE against this build is a GOOD hexway that can adapt very well and take down spirits and neutralize trappers, and on second thought maybe a good vampiric spirit wtf lifestealing spike can roll this

Edit: I just realized Borat said it all basically so read his post

And any one noticing this is catching on in TA and fake TA (Sync RA)?

Not gonna say every balanced gets rolled by it, as I can still beat it. (2W, 2E (earth fire), Me, Rt)

But again, U need build specific counters. Having an earth ele for example helps alot. Have him chain Eruption and UG. Maybe even bring Melee or Churning Earth for very specific counters.

Observe hoh. there are almost no balanced teams, and if they are, they get wiped out every match. For me, balanced has no chance against this...

Not because they are the best players, not because they have the best tactics, not because of consistent high level play. Math made you mad, and that is why they own.

We've modded Dongway (I don't think we've run the same version for more than a week) again and we can stand up to the new sway now. Its still like beating your head against the wall for ten minutes, but we can stand up to it.

-Physical heavy keep your physicals blind clean is a full time job, but necessary.
-Escape + Lightning is strong but it isn't up all the time, make them pop lightning, count escape, and you can drop the rangers.
-If the E/Rt's don't watch each other, they should drop fast.
-Cripple/blind/snares of your own are absolutely vital.
-Pull cripple off your guys fast.
-Get midliners to wand/spear trappers whenever they have a chance
-Midliners with sins on then, watch and wait for exhausting, then you have an 8 second window to cast.
-Kite, seriously kite, everyone kite, no exceptions. Unrestrained these R/A can do upwards in 300 damage in a few seconds.
-RC > LS No really, there is no longer any reason to run LS other than lack of skill at prot monk.

Yes... these dagger attacks are bs... and all these anti melee skills are making it tough to rape their faces... but cmon doesnt that mean you run less melee? not more? seriously run 1 warrior tops... if that warrior gets blinded... that is the ONLY warrior that is getting blinded right and you should have a half descent (meaning he isnt braindead) prot to rip conditions off your warrior? And think about this too... rangers = 75% block practically all the time... including the trappers as the eles will be right onto them with their wep shadows and wardings... the prisms have warding and shadows and prism... what other character is there... OHHH THE RIT!!! blind was mingson is the only problem... 1 second cast. 20 second recharge. dshot goes pwnt? this is just like balanced in TA... except instead of training the necro to death... train the rit to death.

However this is imbalanced and i strongly oppose

Math Iway owns,

Because they are the best iwayers, they have the best iway tactics, and because of consistent high level play. Even sway is beatable with iway, just takes 10 mins. The only time iway can lose to sway is in hoh 1v1 cap points.
