Secondly, they should simply realise that nothing good will ever come from having BSpike be 'a functional gimmick', just get rid of it and never bring it back.

Lets look at life stealing skills:

- It causes a damage that is not considered damage so overrides all types of protection.
- It's not considered healing so it overrides Deep Wound effects and some other hexes.
- It ignores armor.
- Low recharges.

Is this balanced?

Personally I don't get whats so hard about making sure your build doesn't lose to bspike if you play ladder.

the reason they wont destroy b spike forever is because they are afraid the ladder will fall stagnant and people wont play. they dont realize though, many more people would gvg if it wasnt for the huge percentage of matches that are played against b spike.

Gimping your build vs other builds than bspike is hardly worth it, unless you play for the sole purpose of winning/getting champ points rather than having enjoyable matches of course.

if top 100 can't beat blood spike with a balance build then they're bad. i'm not saying my guild always beats b-spam, but a top 100 team needs to know how to deal with such gimmicks.

I don't really agree with it existing because I don't think it helps at all with making the game better in any way like ANet are trying to say it is, but I don't think it's really that big of a problem anymore either. Maybe I'm just not playing ladder at the right times but it seems like you don't encounter it TOO often at least, and when you do it's not incredibly difficult to beat it.. a few mistakes and you lose sure, but then again, its only a few rating right? It's not like it's an AT or something.

Old B-spike never really bothered me. Yes it was 3-2-1, yes it was a bit overpowered, but the original (and even to a large extent the oppressive gaze versions) were easy enough to shut down and send them on full defensive.

This new blood pressure is just terrible. 7 uncoordinated people that just roll face over the keyboard and can put out that kind of damage and never have to be forced to "go on the defensive" is just something that shouldn't exist.

who really cares if people quit because of a nerf to bspike? They contribute absolutely nothing positive to the game and are just retarded champ point farmers. They make people actually not want to play because its such a lame build to play against.

If people actually leave because their gimmick that never should exist gets taken out of the game, then those people really never should have been a part of the game to begin with. Good riddance to them. The game is better without them.

I completely agree with reverend.
The old version was 9001 times more interesting to play against which says a lot about how utterly stupid this version is.

I know a lot of people who aren't bothered to play because they're at a low level, but keep facing shit like bspam, heroway and other shit like that they'll never really learn from.

Removing obvious crap will only be beneficial.

Disagreed.
They're wasting their elite on energy management.
They don't have 10 regen and no access to dark escape and teleports.
I dont see what's so good about it, most matches they wipe instantly when we played them.
Never really had the time to look at what they run actually, i've seen them use vamp gaze and cultist fervor..
They just drop too fast for me to care, easy champs!

The only better thing I can think off is that I've faced some where they ran chain copies of shame which is pretty frustrating.
