I fought a monk in RA with no attributes set and no elite.

Another one was when this dude said "Why cant i use my Asuran summon?" My team had a very very good laugh.

my friend (at the time very new to GW) was begging me to sync into RA with him (me actually being a good monk back then) so I went with to help him out and give him some game experience) after providing him with enough flames of balthazar to get a complete bar (no input from me) we entered turns out he had gone me/mo with a bar consisting of [conjure phantasm] [conjure nightmare] and [amity] >.< - gogo unattackable degen-way - shame the other team had a monk >.<

also 4 syncers from my ally (I was against them) who had synced in with 4 hamstorm wars

PM'd one of them later and was told they reached 5wins running it...(have seen a SS of this - can't find atm - will post it if I can find it)

good times in the leetest PvP arena of all

personal favourite was having an ele on my team with only 4 skills (fire attunement / elemental attunement / aria of restoration / flare) and QQ for the entire match each time their ranger d-shot his flare - LOL

Here's a good one:

We were down to 3 (them) vs. 2 (us). No rez on either side. I was on my ranger and a derv killed me (not too difficult at this stage, I'm pretty new to RA and PvP so I'm not a difficult target in general... I'm learning though

). Now it's 3 (them) vs 1 (us).

On the other side of the RA area, our surviving team member, a warrior, is in a battle against 2 people. The derv, instead of rejoining the fight (which would have made it 3 on 1), starts doing the dumbest thing I have ever seen... he starts dancing over my corpse.

In my meantime, the warrior on my team has killed an opponent and now it's one on one. I'm watching this and still the asstard derv dances over my body.

Wow, his team member starts to die and he suddenly realizes "Oh shit! Better go help". By the time he gets his dumbass over there, his other team member is dead and the warrior is pumping on adrenaline takes him down in about 5 seconds.

We win and because of him, we continued on to win three more rounds, but lost the 5th. Just 1 short of the five in a row I need for TA. **sigh**

I guess the moral in this would be: Hold off on the gloating until you've actually *won*.

-A Ranger using Apply Poison immediately followed by RtW. Then used skills such as Determined Shot and Called Shot.
-MMs
-Barrage
-Warrior using traps
-Me + 2 teammates beating 4 people who spent about a minute trying to trick us into walking into their traps.
-Rebirth/Light of Dwayna on my team

-A sin who was determined to destroy all spirits with auto-attacks instead of killing the rit

Epic Win:
Me (ranger), two other rangers, and a sin somehow managed to get 4 wins and were on our fifth. I needed the 5 win streak for the zquest and I didn't really feel like playing anymore, so if we lost this match then that was it. It was down to a 1 on 1 with a BA ranger (other team) vs. a ranger with spike trap (my team). Our ranger was getting pwned and was forced to kite for the remainder of the match. The other ranger stopped chasing him for a while to insult him. While the teams sat there bickering, our trapper was setting mass amounts of traps. With about 1-2 minutes remaining, the ranger continued his pursuit and ran right into the traps. Lulz ensued.

2:
On burning isle, the teams sat there looking at each other for a good minute or so. Eventually, the other team made their move and began their assault. Just for fun, our team decided to run the other way. The match then turned into a giant game of ring-around-the-rosie until it went into sudden death. So, our team charged, insta-spiked some caster, and won 1-0.

Why would you give your friend Flames of Balthazar out of your own pocket and then let him randomly pick skills when he was new ?:(

Rangers also do that but they use Draw Conditions to trigger Melandru's Resilience then go running around with Natural Stride and Lightning Reflexes...

Wait, they use Draw Conditions to trigger Melandru's Resilience, then cancel out MR due to using other stances?

Haven't seen those before but that sounds very flawed.

I'm suprised you haven't seen people that cancel out their other stances in RA.

I see people everyday with a skillbar of stances and use them all at once left with the last one, they haven't noticed the stances cancel each other out.

our ranger killed 5 people and they didnt kill any. time ran out and we still lost because of a d/c'er the match before.

another one was when i was playing my healing ritualist and a para in my team went after a necro for a 1 vs 1 in D'Alessios Arena where the poisoned water......we could get a flawless victory but the para obviuosly died from degen, even if he killed the necro.

he begged me to come help and he didn't have many skills so I thought i'd be generous....also I like having epic laughs sometimes...
funny thing is it inspired me to play a very similar build in AB for fun QQ times

but generousity got the better of me when he said me/mo i was optermistic

Some of you might have seen my raptor farmer, Ixl Asplode Ixl, in RA before:

1 Hammer Bash

6 Master of Magic
7 Frenzy
8 Frenzied Defense

The basic idea is to hit MoM for 12 conjure while having 12 weapon and 12 tactics. Going W/E has the possibility that it might actually WORK so I went the other way.

I get all sorts of lovely comments including people that report me for leeching even though I'm obviously trying my hardest.

Of course perseverance breeds success and getting backfire/guilted by a mesmer and proceeding to bash and win is a varry gud feeling. Oh yeah. And one mez tried really hard to divert my rez signet. GG.

As a disclaimer I made this ele before I knew what [rawr] was, much less the real Asp. NOT trying to throw any dirt on him. [Donate to Halp-Change-My-Ele's-Name fund! Plz!]
