*monking against 2 rangers who random every time and don't get anything the whole match
*someone who saw the derv on our team had a vamp scythe called him a noob and left
*A hammer war using primal with no cancel stance.
*Idiversioned some sins palm strike 3 times in a row so all he did was auto attack most of the match.
*And of course you know these guys, the sins who keep going through their whole chain even though it failed, or trying to use a falling way to late and the person is already standing.
Can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Ye the last one is the worst, when a palm strike sins trampling ox fails, and yet they still use falling spider, horns of the ox, falling lotus, and twisting fangs, even tho they didnt do anything.

During the worst of the PS meta in tombs, it would not be uncommon for me to kite out of the cripple for PS, continue kiting the sin for a good 10 seconds before he caught up and used the trampling he had queued.

I'm surprised this thread didn't grow more yesterday, anybody (competent) trying to do the zaishen combat RA quest knows what I mean.

What a mess, btw what is with warriors thinking it's good to take 0 damage and give 0 damage running defy pain builds with literally 0 damage.

That's the dumbest thing I've seen there, sux even worse when you're a monk and you see what looks like a balanced team ex. W/Mo/R/E turns out the warrior is another 0 in 0 out statue, the ranger is a sin and the ele is spamming RoD on you during countdown....

Then when the games over the rangersin says "noob team" it's better than television.

Won 10 in a row in RA (wonderful entertainment if you have 1h to kill before having to go to work <3) and moved onto TA and managed to win another 2-3 there. Then we faced a 4-Monk team whose whole goal to win was to simply sit there, look pretty, heal one another and wait for the /ragequit ^_^

They told us to just resign and quit at the beginning of the match, but we decided to make it a draw and kick both teams from game instead... then there was a "...Oops." in local chat as one of the 4 monks died and they had no res. So we proceeded to wand them and dance till the timer was up and we won ^_^

I was on Vent with my guild + friends telling them about it and just laughing my bum off for good 5 minutes. Still clueless how that one happened.

Got a 3 monk, 1 Warrior (I was one of the monks running WoH/tactics stances) set up in RA, we went up against a monk/mesmer/ranger/sin team...and we won the match. What is surprising is the Warrior we had was using the default Charge/Healsig build you load up with...everyone kept trying to kill the warrior and we kept healing him.

Most retarded match I ever had.

Stupidest thing you have ever seen in Random Arena:

Me bothering to heal stupid teammates before eventually getting outpressured because they somehow take a crapload of damage without doing any.

There was a warrior who said he was pro defy pain tank, I then pointed out he used charge >.<

I decided to give american RA a second chance, so I tried it again on my warrior.
our team was REALLY shitty, there was a flesh golem MM
after dying about 30 seconds in, I said "typical american RA, full of noobs" in team chat

the MM goes to do no disturb and whisps me for (what I'd estimate to be) 10 minutes, saying how I am a moron and suck at RA.

I was AFK the whole time. xD

And my 42 win streak launching from Korean RA is probably up there.

I once saw, in the same team (even better, TA) -
Necro using mesmer hexes.
Mesmer using necro hexes (wouldnt fail so much if he spec'd into fast cast, interrupt him with d shot and savage 24/7).
Monk tried to get rid of my condition spread (poison + bleeding + burning, last two spread nicely across all team members) with cautery signet. Didnt use my burning arrow much on him after that, he killed himself due to lack of condition removal.
Their last member was decent, I think an R/p. Someone needed to teach him that obstructions only work well if your a spellcaster though, he was basicly useless most of the match.

Since the thread tittle says "things" instead of "builds" i go a head and cry here:

The most annoying thing, well it happens from time to time, but the general way of it happening is when my team mates let the opponents shut me down completely and don't do anything about it, then call me noob because we lost.

Like the lates was Me (monk), necro and 2 mesmers, 3 flawless +1 wins. Mesmers let the enemy mesmer shutdown me and the dervish+eles were doing nice spike dmg on my team so meh... 3 diversion and 2 shames landed on me that game. 1 diversion and shame i managed to remove with veil and one diversion with balanced stance.

But it wasn't enough to keep 60AL team alive against lyssa dervish and fire + air(i think) ele... - don't think anyone of them had a defensive set and only one mesmer did know what kiting the melee means, instead of tanking all the damage.

Oh and, one game before that one was close one too, with that same team, where they let mesmer blackout/diversion spam me for the whole game (it was the only non-flawless before the lose :P) - yes yes, i could always run from the mesmer, but i have to stop to cast heals from time to time, so can't 100% kite blackouts.

What do you expect in RA? it is a combination of new ppl and bored vets. In the last week i saw a few things that made me chuckle.

A team standing around shrine protecting the rez monk

A team being balled up on a bridge w/ AoE damge.

Ranger using concussion shot while blinded

Overextending sins with a monk on the team

Ive got many many more but you know what i mean...

I'm completely new to PvP, and was told by a friend that HAs a lot to get my feet wet in RA. So last night, in I go. One team we had a monk running Barrage with a pet, and on another our leader was calling targets on minions. Does that count?

Hey I played a few rounds of random arena with a warrior that had:
aura of the lich
infuse condition
watch yourself
soldiers strike
riposte
deadly riposte
shield stance
healing signet

Or something along those lines, with 9 swrd, 10 death magic and I think 13 tactics. And I actually won a game of RA with it once and a few rounds in Aspenwood. But I still think it counts here.

My warrior was in RA with 2 other warriors. I had on elite templar and another guy had on elite Luxon. The 3rd warrior, wearing Vabbian, starts complaining/bragging about how he is the only one wearing "good armor." I tell him that looks don't really matter and that I wear what I like. He responds "you know this costs 300k?." He then proceeded to die with his terrible healing breeze build.
Seriously. A guy bragging about having expensive gear in RA.

Not the stupidiest, but when you get a mesmer on your team and your like yessss and then you see him cast conjure phantasm.
