It's RA, so you expect stupidity. But from my experience, it mostly came from monks.
This is by far the best one. To put this in context, I was playing warrior and whenever I would have a bad hex or condition on me. I would ping it once. The monk told me to stfu with the pinging. And then with a few exchanges (albeit I lost a bit my temper), it escalated and then I was just entertained by how stupid he was.
Militis: Me. I was running that HB Stunning Strike war when the huge hype was there and I wanted to see what the big fuss was all about. It did pretty good before, not much anymore though with everyone running stances. Monks are so abundant now, I play a hammer war now. You may see me in ID.
Rain: One of our teammates.
Khaos: The special monk.
I included a screenshot after we lost where Khaos walked up to rain and /zrank'ed him with a spear, we both /zrank'ed him and he raged. I've become 5.

This is the most incorrect statement I've ever seen in my life. There is nothing -- ABSOLUTELY NOTHING -- more important than removing Shutdown or Anti-Prot hexes as a Monk (except maybe healing).
This statement has left me in absolute bewilderment as to how anyone on earth could ever consider VoR "not as important" as something else. That "something else" had to have been somewhere along the lines of:
[Wastrel's Worry][Backfire][Empathy][Lingering Curse][Mark of Insecurity][Conjure Nightmare][Rigor Mortis][Shame]
all stacked on the Monk.

You, Sir, are what I consider a good RAer... If I monk, and you ping me your hexes or conditions like that, give me 2 secs and they'll be removed, provided I am not under too much pressure myself... I love it when people have the savvy to ping their hexes and conditions...
That monk was a total noob!!!

Hehe, thanks. Most of my PvP days in GW, I play Monk and almost every time I go in, I tell my teammates to ping me if they have a bad hex or condition. It is a mutual benefit. But oddly enough, it is the ideal case. Instead, I get people pinging a completely useless hex on them or having a primal rage war or sin attack through empathy and expect a monk to have 10 hex removal.
Even though I don't play monk much in RA anymore (mainly because there's many of them and half of them are competent), I play builds that rely on causing the monks trouble. Such as heavy hex on the nec but recently, maybe for about 2-3 weeks, I've been playing a Hammer War. It is hard to find a good war that knows how to switch targets. And it's not all about killing the monk. Especially when there's a nec or mes, where you can kd them for 9 seconds and interrupt a nasty hex. Interrupting a sin who's at the beginning of his/her chain spike is always hilarious. Or killing the weakest link and forcing the teammates to waste their res sigs (essentially having the weakest link never use his/her res sig). I don't know... is it that complicated to understand?
Especially training on a monk that has 2 stances... when I play monk, I love when the physicals focus on me, all they see is block block block and all I need to worry is healing one person, myself, while my teammates are free to cast and pressure the team.

A W/E with flare, lightning strike and healing signet. Couldn't get the other skills unfortunately but I can't imagine that they would deface such a nice start.

I dont think its a problem if a person pings their cond/hex multiple times...if they only ping it once it can get easily lost by other messages, not to mention players often dont watch all the time what ppl ping, so...a golden middle between maniac ping spam and only 1 ping would suit me most =]

I got 12 wins with a group where 1 player was a W/Mo with RoJ and 4 hard reses + res sig, watch yourself, and disc stance.

It's nowhere the stupidest thing I've seen, but I thought it was nice to share.
I was on a warrior, mes kept draining my energy. At the end of the match, I told him that he probably should have tried energy deny the necro instead, draining a war is no where as effective.
He responds with this (obviously goes offline / appear offline so I cant respond):
Loosely translated:
"It's energy for me "rigolo", try to understand the game."

I thought that looked familiar, then I realized that its because I was the R/ in that conversation.
LOL
"Ride the Rain" Is a mule I used to use for testing out Ranger builds and screwing around.
I will never understand monks in RA and AB who do not seem to realize that if you kill the enemy, they will no longer have to heal and thus will have an easier time with e-management...My guess is they are PvE retard monks who are used to being able to recover between the steamrolling of AI mobs, so the thought of having to actively think about how they are using their energy has yet to occur to them.

The screenshot is on my old PC, but i've seen a guy accuse our team's monk of being a noob because he was wielding a spear when he was /W.

I like to run obscure shit occassionally and I get that all the time. Also, I'll usually skip the secondary if the build doesn't require it (hammer warrior bar or whatever), just to see the amusing comments. Usually you'll get the obligatory "OMG WE GOT A PVE NOOB ://///////" before the match starts.

meh, ran into another of those genius fake whammos(with /E that is)
equipment: Fiery Dragon Sword with some off hand(probably fire)
started the match with: "camp here, they will come to us"
than after he got tired of waiting for the enemy team he rushed forward, used [healing signet] when at full health than the almight [fire storm]
than he used some other skills, [seeking blade][galrath slash] and [final thrust] all the while spamming [healing signet] as soon as it was recharged. note that the other team had 3 rangers, finally they interrupted his silly [healing signet] and he died :P
note that he didnt use a stance nor an elite skill for the entire match! tried talking to him after the game to figure out the rest of his bar but he was being evasive, best part was:
me: "can you ping me your entire build?"
him: "my build is good"
me: "do you have an elite?"
him: "yessir, a couple"
after a few minutes...
me: "can you ping it to me?"
him: "I dont know how"
me: "use templates" than I explained how to set them up
him: "I dont wanna do that"
than after a few minutes...
him: "I only have 1 elite skill, but I dont know..." probably I dont know how to equip/use it
than after a few more minutes he vanished(logged off)
the saddest part of the story Imho is that I actually tried to help this poor fellow but he didnt take it nicely and vanished :\
***edit***
also ran into this awsome W/R with [healing signet][lion's comfort] and [troll unguent] :\

Instead of ressing his teammates, this ranger put up Frozen Soil. I thought that was entertaining.
Oh and the daily rages from people who spams "I am attacking (insert healer here)!" I really didn't think it was hard to understand damage mitigation, especially now that monks are /W. Was raged at by this Avatar of Dwayna derv because I was attacking the Crit Scythe Sin instead of focusing on the Weapon of Warding / Discipline Stance Rit. Funny when I was kd'ing the sin, we managed to get in some kills.
It's usually the tanks too that spam to only attack the monk and not to switch targets.
For some reading my posts, no, I don't say never attack the monk. I actually do go for the monk, I make them waste a guardian or a stance on themselves before I switch right away to another target. Remember monks don't (usually) have res sigs, if you take out one person twice, they've run out of sigs and lost 1 damage dealer. And the monk... well he/she will most likely give up at that point. But say you bump into a Mo/Me, I usually go after them. His/her teammates will consistently be wasting sigs while (I hope) my 3 other team members are doing something productive... like killing the others or interrupting the res.
Anyway, I am happy there's people like this in RA, how else would you be able to get Glad Pts, right? Would you want an insane tough match every round? I kinda miss the pre-dishonorable days.

you have to understand though this isnt GvG. putting 2 melee and 1 shutdown mes or necro on a monk and the other teammate on some1 else is tough for a solo healer. they're gonna breakdown eventually.
switching targets in RA is ok if your up against a poorly gathered team. you want PRESSURE on the cute little healers though. make their job a living hell.

This isn't random arena, but this is still stupid.
This guy was complaining a lot that he can't get a team. Wondering why, I asked him to ping his skills.
I gave him "advice" and he took it as a insult. But I learned something today, people have feelings.
Come on, saying "You should PvE more." is a insult, to a pro. But to him it's advice.
