PB = 20 seconds then heal = far from self heal = in 10 seconds they are dead. AoR are barely noticeable. Diversion is barely used in AB (Out of 10 toucher matches, I ran into 1 ritualist with diversion) Dshot is used a lot though.

Yeah, but they could do better then high powered 3 lightning spells. After they cast 6 spells, they are out of energy. On top of that, sometimes they stack Lightning Surge which is point less. (Same goes for mesmers Backfire)

D-shot being used a lot doesn't means it's used right, by all those bad interrupt spammers. Touchers spam two skills so giving the rangers on the shrines d-shot would be a very good idea.

The eles need dual attunements up all time so they can spam their spells away.

No need to nerf ele shrine, just buff all shrines, including a snare on both eles and mesmers.

Also Zodiac, dunno why you're so amazed you win by touching. AB is full of noobs so it's not like big deal.

I'm not amazed, it's funny, I laugh. Beating people with such a noob build. It's weird as soon as people see a toucher, they think "noob" easy kill. I just laugh at the feeling of Superiority. It's funny when the feeling goes away when they are losing to touchers with 6 shrines on the touchers side. When they start cussing is even funnier. When they win on Lands 500-470 they think they are great. Its... just funny. Then only noobs there are the ones that complain/gloat/leave game.

If you buff all of the shrines it would be harder to capture. (Hint, go around capping) If you can't go cap without running into big trouble, defeats the point. NPC's are there to prevent super easy capture, also as a delay, prevent a warrior to solo cap. I see them there as a delay/mini help. It's just it is easier to cap other shrines. Fix that it's easier than others.

It's not a big deal anyways, because solo capping fails. I only do it when I got virtually no other way to go to, but it's so slow...

Buffing the shrines by giving the NPC's decent builds would be hilarious. Watching PvE nob teams get owned by AI would be win.

While I was ABing we came across a monk with Rebirth, Live Vigorously, Orison of Healing and Words of Comfort. Over the three times we killed him those were the only skills I saw (He has like 400 health and we killed him before he cast Words of Comfort.) Nice job with condition removal, not like crippling won't kill you

If your going to bring a rez, be decent and bring a GOOD rez. What, is he going to rez outside of AI aggro range? "Op, my ally died to Elementalists because I couldn't heal him with Orison, so I'll bring Rebirth so he will be safe from ele's." The only time I took a rez and I mean the ONLY time was took bring Lively, to res a group of allies (Support rit) that was way back, before I had a monk, even I knew better then to bring something so stupid.

Solo capping is very slow, yeah. The thing I've noticed about solo cappers is that they (generally) just don't give up. As a monk, you can actually defend shrines by healing the NPCs... who gladly do the job of killing the capper for you. Most of them don't seem to run away when they notice their health getting low.

He sounds like he ported a PvE bar straight into AB.

Recently I ran into a Mo/A who apparently had a combination of smite and assassin skills. He shadow-stepped to me and died to my team before he got any attack off. Which, er, doesn't bode well for his hp IMHO.

you cant ursan in ab and why not bring a self heal in your own? like warrior with heal sig ect? and use secondary more efficently mes=interupt no need magebane if you want posion bring a degen skill!

Okay...

For one, I can barely understand what you're trying to make out. Two, 10 energy for degeneration versus 7 energy for degeneration which can be reapplied easily and isn't needed on use as much as Phantasm. Three, Magebane is a powerful interrupt. Four, please stop posting.

Yeah gotta love that. The typical fire ele actually thinks he'll score a warrior kill and doesn't seems to notice he's hitting for less than half of his intended damage.

In any given match, at most I find three people that actually kite, usually mesmers and monks, while other good chunk runs a tank build (Glad defense/Defy Pain) and the rest are suicidal.

As a ranger, I was able to hold of 5 melee characters at once (2 warriors, 1 Dervish, 1 R/A with daggers, and 1 sin) with troll ugent, natural stride, and throw dirt (since they were all clumped together) for over 25 seconds, long enough for the rest of my team to catch up and cap the res shrine. No one had a snare, skill that hits through blindness, condition removal... anything. Just power attacks and jagged strikes missing again and again and again.

Oh, and a dylok signet warrior (always fun to see that) who thought throwing that up agianst my degen ranger would somehow help.

Worst i have seen... well when a whole team on the luxon side decide to be paragon and bring Signet of Return and use it whenever someone died... it defets the purpose. Then they complained about not being able to use it on NPCs ><

As a drev, i managed to hold a mob at ele shrine (with a luxon elite npc) and stay there for about 5 mins just boosting my self with enchanments. Two mms, nutthin took me down to half health. Then one of my teams eles shadow jumped in and did Shock Wave and died pretty quickly xD then i got bored and dicided to die.

Also i keep getting recrutes off people on the oppersit team, any hints on how to stop this? XD

I met a D/W that used Avatar of Balthazar and frenzied me with a sword. We were playing Shove Spike (For laughs) and killed him, I didn't even get a single skill on him. We surprisingly won that match before 8 people where trying to cap the monk shrine where we were. (5 monks vs 6 damagers and 2 monks that can't do anything with shove spike.) The best part was, we killed that Derv 6 times (I counted) and he was the only person we killed because he kept running to us after he rez. and the best of all part, we /rank him at the end, I never seen so many bad words.

1. Sin from the other side who was running the old school (pre-nerf) perma SF UW build. I admit I couldn't get any hits on him with my war, but my teammates made short work of him in 10-15 seconds. I couldn't believe he was expecting to be able to "hold" his aggro of us...with his using lava font.

After we killed him the second time, I told him in local chat that no, we were not aatxes/mind blades and no, we were NOT going to drop ectos if he somehow got around to killing us.

2. Warriors with WoH. All the time. They give wammos a bad name.

Warrior with meteor shower and stonefist's is one of the best lolbuilds to run in AB. Try it with your guildies sometime

My team was holding the bridge (cant remember map name) and as i was checking to see if the eastern rez shrine was clear i saw a W/R with a bow trying to solo cap...yes a bow....using BHA (dont ask) and he had a level 10 pet crab which i killed with 2 autoattacks, he then tried to solo me...a defy pain war. I didn't want to take the fun out of this so i literally stood still, letting him get me to about 30% health before activating my elite and finishing him off.
