Just for lols I began running a RoJ derv in JQ.
It's like the spanish inquisition; no one sees it coming.
The funniest part? It actually works pretty well.

last time I ABed there were some guys laughing from Blinding Surge ele having empathy on his bar. Actually after a thought I could figure out why it is wrong... Can someone give some insights? For me it was not the worst bar in AB.
To add to my previous list: Warrior with 12 in curses running SS and warrior with desecrate enchantments...

Yes, I think I've seen an A/R use barrage before. It was very odd... and disturbing.

Although a crit barrager isnt a great build, its not an awful one. If thats one of the 5 worst builds you've seen then you've lived a charmed AB life.

Ive done that. It is EPIC fun, especially when the other team mobs. 100+ damage on 6 dudes at once = win.

I hate getting called a wiki noob - I used to make original builds, but as they improved more and more they steadily got closer to the wiki version so now you can find my original builds on wiki.
Last person to call me a wiki noob was a (noob) YAA warrior with dash (noob). Killed him (noob) twice with bull's strike and he starts talkin'.
This person was also complaining about it being 4v1, when in fact moments prior to his demise it had been 4v4 on his team's capped elite ele shrine (noobs).

I've seen this guy!
I was monking the other day and after out team got caught in a mob I managed to get away and run to were I could meet with a team.
Low on energy and health I get hit with an arrow, Kitah's Burden and conjure nightmare. I was expecting to look at my radar and see a ranger and mesmer that snuck up on me. Nope just this guy. After he spamed d-shot and savage he followed me to my team with barrage and died.
The reason I remember this so well is because, after his death, I did the /laugh and he all chated, "you didnt kill me so STFU" I could not help but taunt him the rest of the match.

Yes I get called a Wiki noob all the time. I don't even use wiki that much, its just that almost any skill combination nowadays that makes any logical sense is on wiki.
For example, if you're a monk and you are running WoH - wiki noob
Monk running PnH - wiki noob
Ranger running Mels shot - wiki noob
Mesmer running VoR - wiki noob
its just silly. People fail to realise that the builds are on wiki for a REASON original does NOT always equal BETTER, people like this are just to naive to realise this.
However this type of behaviour can easily be explained by my good friend wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning_kruger_effect

The worst build I've seen include things like Warriors with RoJ.. D:
I saw an ele once with RoJ, he was like "I have more energy."
I asked him why he didn't make a PvP monk and go Mo/Me for Arcane Echo like a smart person does.
He didn't reply.
Warriors with Meteor Shower, Sins with Earth Shaker, once saw a Mo/W running around with a caster hammer, 55 monks/necros, VwK 'Tanks', Sins who have low/no critical strikes for 'spiking'..
The list of idiocy is endless.
You know what the worrying thing is?
I hardly ever AB. o.o
EDIT:
What I hate most about AB, noobs who can't win in any higher PvP (No offense, maybe you find AB the most fun/working on your titles, whatever.)
think that because they can do AB because it's the easiest PvP imo ARE GOD.
And think 'Wow, I just killed someone in AB.. WIKI NOOB LOLOLOLOL GO BACK 2 UR SRS PVP LIEK RA XDDDDDDDDD'
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I do not AB.

It bothers me especially when someone claims they've been using the same terrible build for years, and thus it works great for them.
I'm glad there's a name for this effect.

That's a vast generalisation, but I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinions. Honestly AB is the funnest part of the game for me.
Why?
You can run a vast array of builds, plus you can make funny team builds.
You can run a spike build and wipe the floor with other teams.
Anybody can do it, you don't need a title or rank or whatever to get into an AB guild.
You don't have to deal with the inflated egos of people in as you put it "higher up" pvp, GvG isn't so bad in this regard but HA whew man that place is e-peen central.
You can just zone there and start, don't need to wait for ages to get a group together and builds sorted out.
Lastly you can run your GvG build and absolutely obliterate everybody
P.S I would put AB above RA, you can filter out noobs from your group before you being
