This was in RA, but it is in the same vein. Me and this group I was in saw a veritable cornicopia of noobocrity. Warrior with [[life transfer], [[life siphon] and androgens gaze <-sp. Monk with [[rebirth]. Who we played with for a while letting him try to rez his party only to be [[distracting shot]ted at the last second. I love me some noobs!

The monk/necro wasn't too bad, if that was all he had. Gives health and energy for him, eats a corpse, and can be way of escape, albeit it random.

I agree. People too often label something as nubish if it simply not a pvx wiki template. I laugh...

sets don't make energy out of nothing, they only increase maximum energy limit.

Let me correct myself. Monks learn HOW to use sets. I'm gonna assume you don't use sets yourself so please trust that I've monked enough for myself and can at least recognize what works for energy.

oh ya sorry... you the guy who knows everything about hammer warriors to.
your experience means nothing to me. Fact is: sets dont make energy you didn't already have. In fact the only reason to wear low energy set is to hide energy from e-denial. And the only reason to wear high energy set is to look like an idiot with 2+ regen.
please go on leaving in your dream world of pretty wiki tbuilds.
bye.

how to make energy out of nothing:
swap to a high energy set. look ma, i just conjured up +30 energy out of nothing!
how to not pay the -2 energy regen it takes for the +30 energy:
swap back to a normal set. look ma, i now have full energy regen when i'm not casting, and +30 energy when i want to cast! amazing.

Which to means you either can't monk for shit and running out of energy not casting much, or your teammates taking so much damage that you have to cast on recharge. In either case swapping back in forth is not going to work. AB isn't 8 man team where you have second monk to back you up. So if you running out of energy, the +30 set will only make it worse. As such my point still stands. Switching sets is NOT an energy management. Learn better bars or ways of using them.
