I've seen builds with no elite.

Warriors with fire storm. I don't make fun of them in areas below level 10, but then it stops being useful.

yesterday there was a P/A that started QQ'ing in Team chat about how Wastrels worry wasn't working... we told him to read the skill description with concise on.. his response "shit!" It was really funny, too bad I didn't get to see the rest of his skills.

I saw a similar build (at least a para with LoD) used by a top rated guild in GvG a while ago. So he wasnt too much off the mark.

Its just a shame the rest of his build is crap.

Totally agree, A group of like 4 paragons wouldn't be so useful, but paragons can help a group a lot with echos shouts n chants. Especially in GvG where everything can effect 8 people and give you the most energy back from leadership. Ie. Anthem of flame can help a lot cause burning owns

Wow, thats a build thats horribly funny yet actually synergizes decently. Cripslash + meteor is classic, and it has gash and final thrust. Just needs a cancel stance for frenzy. Now if there just wasn't a 90 second recharge on meteor shower...

I don't know if I was stoned that day but I think I remember seeing [rawr] running that a couple weeks ago. Supposedly it heals for moar w/ the recent para nerfs. Weird...

Isn't ursan blessing deactivated in AB? As a PvE only skill, they're just running around using normal skills?
Do they wonder why their UB isn't working?

I find Ub in AB hard to believe, I think some people are just trying to be absurd or exaggerate.
Echo mending I can believe but if a player is far enough in EoTn to have UB, they should know how PvE-only skills work. In the sense that, they DON'T in PvP.

Yes, he was also bitching the whole time why it wasn't working. You don't notice ppl with other PvE skills as much as they can still function (somewhat) without it and you don't tend to pay attention anyway.

Seeing how AB is half-PvE in some sense, its reasonable some people will make mistakes when changing builds like putting 8 att into Earth magic instead of Earth prayers when going for [mystic regeneration], so seeing silly mistakes isn't unreasonable.

And the reason I know he was using UB, was because he was on my team and he asked me why it wasn't working, so yes its partially my fault for not asking pugs their build. I just find that many people get real touchy when asked to present builds.
