I need to add another terrible build:

Ranger with flare. In fact, anything other than (maybe) fast cast Me with flare is /epicfail.

I also want to mention a ranger build with possibly the worst synergy I've ever seen:

Barrage
Read the Wind
Apply Poison
Mending
Forked Arrow
and 3 other skills

Go figure...

Over the weekend I saw a Kurzick W/E killing fort defenders on Kaanai Canyon with Savannah Heat, I'm not sure if he had Meteor Shower or not.

Worst one I've seen was a D/R with no points in a weapon mastery. The conversation went something like this.

"Um, why don't you have any points in scythe mastery?"
"i use a sword"
"Why the hell would you use a sword with a D/R?"
"bcuz it looks cool with balth"

You're right

I have no idea why it was echoed in that case. I was just watching him whilst fighting and assumed he cast it on a Dervish before himself because that was the only other Melee in the party. Didn't realise it was only self-targetting. I may post SS if I can dig one out somewhere. This was a good few months ago though, I just saved the build at the time because it was pretty epic and felt the need to share it's "specialness" with the rest of the guild.

This is AB after all... Some people truly make you go "wtf...!?".

No screenshot (it wouldn't be possible to show in a screenshot, I'd need a video) but last night a wammo ran up to me, put up Healing Breeze, used Frenzy, and began to attack me.

Hitting 200 damage with a bow is a very satisfying experience.

Had Air Attunement. I asked why, he said "It's for Energy Management for shock (he was running a shock axe build)"

At least he had energy management.
