I don't think you're actually replying to what I'm saying, I don't know if you're even trying. Again, you wanted RA with MAKING TEAMS and I gave you that. Now you want NO SWITCHING SIDES and guess what? Sucks for you, because you can already choose between kurz fa/jq and lux fa/jq. Even the rewards are different! So if you want to get rid of the "I lost, time to switch to the other side!" mentality then I guess you're out of luck. Good luck in GW2 though.
I'd choose luxon because I was a luxon for heck of a long time. You seem to think that everyone craves for titles and doesn't play the game for the gameplay but I guess it's a mentality of new players who NEED EVERYTHING NOW.

I never said I wanted RA with "MAKING TEAMS". You must be reading what I'm saying totally wrong, so let me clarify it for you again. That was an analogy to show how it would break the "point" of AB. JQ and FA are CM's. These involve games that have no deleterious impact on map changes for AB. If you were to allow unguilded players into AB, you might as well create corresponding Kurz/Lux outposts and get rid of the line. You'd in effect, make AB into a CM, and not the fluidly faction vs. faction game (dependent on player skill) it is now.
If players were given an even easier way to arbitrarily switch sides (other than through invites), that takes away the entire point of playing on a self-chosen side.

Oh, I play it for the gameplay. And I'm sure many others do too. I, for one, cannot stand grinding faction in CM's, or grinding DTSC/MQSC. If people only cared about the titles, they'd DTSC/MQSC till they drop, not AB, since faction on both sides is pretty pitiful.
To reiterate (for your reading pleasure):
Allowing unguilded players to AB will not improve the state of the game (because it's ridiculously easy to join/get invited/make your own guild in order to play). Therefore, it's essentially a moot point.
Maybe I'll see you in game tonight.

Maybe but people are hardly going to leave guilds just so they can play on a particular AB side. I still dont understand how giving people and option is a bad thing.

If people are motivated for the title, and if AB is a viable way to get that title would people not play to win ie to gain rewards? Again I really believe that this could only bring AB up instead of drive it even more into the ground.
BTW can we please stay away from responses like AB is PvE anyways balh blah blah just GvG blah blah blah that is not what this is about, this is about improving the AB format.

They don't have to, people from my friend list and I always give each other guest invites. So the option is there.

They really need to make AB give more faction than JQ/FA. AB is supposed to be the mainstream battle between Lux and Kurz. FA/JQ are just mini missions for those without a guild or to take a break from AB. AB also has less leechers and leavers than RA/JQ which makes it way more fun/tolerable.

Ok, you two please go to pm's.
And I do not think that the faction rewards should be lowered in jq/fa just so that more people can come and try to grind their titles in AB. There are enough people playing ab atm, why encourage the lolwut ROJ's to come over as well? Personally I feel that most people who play ab now are in it for either the simple pvp style fun, something other then HA, or the fact that their guildies are making groups. Does this seem like a problem to anyone?

What you are essentially saying is that AB currently is more productive and fun the JQ. If the reward is lowered for jq/fa then those leechers and leavers will come straight over to AB making your fun plummit down the drain.

The sad part is that it's often Guilds who will sync together to do JQ/FA rather than getting the team to do something fun like AB...
Also slightly harder for AB with leechers since you need to form a party, but this is all a moot point.

Not quite, it's called guild and alliance team syncs. Not to mention people report leechers more often in AB than in JQ/FA. Also it's easier to win AB with leechers than it is to win FA/JQ with leechers.

It's not like nerfing JQ/FA is gonna make more good players come AB. It just means more people who are used to running around on their own for PvP experience are gonna come AB and just make AB even worse.
I think AB does need a revamp, but it should be a whole new style of playing. I think they should do a number of things for AB so not only is it fair, but so it doesn't have that PvE taste.
There's some key issues which make AB just terrible to do and they need to be fixed.
-People can just run off and die because they know they'll rez in 15 seconds.
-solo cappers have no idea the value of pips on a shrine
-Builds, peoples builds are terrible and they even refuse to run a good build.
-Maps where you are allowed to choose where to go often have 2 teams going out the same side.
-High end PvP'ers usually do not even care about Kurzick/Luxon titles because you can just take the easy road and PvE for them in a fraction of the time and not have to put up with all the terribleness of AB.
-The rewards aren't great enough for people to care enough to AB
-There is no co-ordination, especially when a person dies they most likely will not rejoin their group and will follow another team around the map.
-On home maps for the home team doesn't have a big enough advantage to win apparently
These are just some of the issues, but I think they are key ones.

Can't be fixed. The title lost whatever prestige it held long ago so most srsPvPrs don't even bother except when they care about HoM. Drawing them in would require the creation of a new format, with its own title.

Most of these problems could simply be solved by making sure everyone in your group is running shield bash.
Use this for extra win:
http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Pv...ame=&Go=Submit
Alternatively, stop being bad and come be a Luxon because it's well known that Kurz side is currently terrible.
All attempts I've made at helping them fail because, unlike my side, they seem to refuse not to be awful.
For example, I say: Kurzick, please stop using defy pain (insert explanation of warrior tactics) -- response "no I'm scared of getting hit QQ, /ignore stop trying to tell me how to play I can play how I like and I like to fail I'm a Kurzick and I'm bad because I play for fun and I run triple chop defy pain or shield bash on my primal rage axe and somehow seem to lose despite heavy map advantage".

As a title hunter I obviously have no choice in the matter that I am now almost close to my Kurzick savior, that I will unfortunately have to be in the same district much less the same games as you. But the fact that you ask me to go Luxon proves you are tired of losing to us.
Note: I posted in this forum to offer insight on why Alliance Battles are dying and do not have many skilled players. I also spoke of why many people don't play Alliance Battles anymore, I forgot one of the reasons. It's because people like you that people don't AB anymore. You pm spam my g/f and I with terrible jokes, then you come onto these forums and troll me. Do you have no life, or are you just mad because you found 2 individuals that are able to carry 2 lesser skilled players to smash you 4v4 each match we play. You can't always win AB, and you can't always do something about a skill thats gonna prevent you from being able to do anything.
From now on I won't post anymore because I refuse to get trolled by you. Any player who wanted a high level pvp'ers insight and won't get it, is because you refuse to drop something and took it too far. I wish you the best of luck in AB, because you will need it.
