Yes! Let's nerf all skills that potentially counter balanced. Why play something else if we all can happily play W, R, N, Mo.
*Sigh* Do you realize that the balanced monotony (aka "competitve atmosphere" in the dev statment) is one of the reasons for ANET to remove TA?

imho:
1) Nerf mantra of resolve, pious concentration and similar skills.
2) Nerf magebane slightly
3) Nerf PR
4) Nerf WoH (make guardian good again?)
5) Nerf shove spike into oblivion: thats griefing, not playing.
6) Tone eda down just a little. Mantaining blind on 3 different players is a bit too much.
7) Buff enchant removal both on necros and other professions. I know rend is going to get abused in GvG maybe revert to 1sec and make it remove 2 enchants and lower its recharge time to the one of eda.
8) Give better non elite options to deal with conditions (being locked to play necro just for conditions absorbtion kinda sucks).
9) Nerf scrubs shit like mind blast, rtl, etc.
10) Double glad points obtained in TA (keep it separated from RA).
11) ????

I am serious, if you consider most of the melee based gimmick builds they work by abusing enchantments. I don't mean very strong buffs, but there must be some viable ways to deal with enchant stacks.

The only ench they use is vig spirit which renders R/A facerollers indestructable. Ok and EDA which is just an error in Matrix.
Thx to ench removals we have dumbed down monks who spam patient and rotate stances. And cytherea and other RA retards please go away. This is not a thread for u.

Look on the bright side, at least you get to play honorable teams every now and again that win by training people to death with defile and rip or doing more linebacking in one match than Lawrence Taylor did in his whole career. Although I do rarely TA anymore for the occasional times with friends, it is really the only arena I can actually stand to play. It should not be removed due to the fact people still use it and enjoy it. Just fix skills and actually take time to look into what is wrong with TA and make it balanced again.

Is there a way to say for sure if some1 prefers RA or even PvE based on this forum? Looks like if any1 says TA is broken, he must be a faggot noob who MUST go back to pve...
anyway...
I for one dont play TA, only did 2 years ago to access HA (Which i dont play either). I prefer RA, but that i realy like. I dont have a solid opinion about TA, but i do hate it when after 10 wins a good RA team looses for some gimmicky TA team. Just remove the transfer between the 2 arenas for all i care.
If there are so many players who like TA, keep it. Gimmicks need a place too.
I'm looking forward to try this Sealed Deck system though.

If I am to judge the popularity and condition of this arena by this forum, there have been two active threads in the last month. This one wouldn't have been created if TA wasn't being deleted, and the other one discusses how TA is dull and needs more incentives to play.
Doesn't sound like we're losing much to say goodbye to TA.

The only people that truly enjoy playing TA are the same g8s that play each other and the mindless shovespike teams.
TA has a very unhealthy playerbase - it's easier to get matches in GvG than TA, which is saying something.
If you TA, you'll face the same 3 euro g8 teams, the same 2 misc gimmick teams, and a crapton of RA teams.
That's not a healthy playerbase.

Cuz the US TA playerbase is a pure joke so our g8 euro teams are left to farm RA spoilovers with occasional shove spike thrill.
Some ppl just don't enjoy npcs in their game. I want pure annihilation matches and I don't care whether it's 4vs4 or 8vs8. I don't wanna catch BYOB ppl nor split vs hexovers. I don't wanna hold the ghostly hero's hands and persuade him to unstuck and cap the stupid altar vs countless waves of mindless sway players. I played enough of these and not anymore.
The sealed deck will never fully replace TA which must be crystal clear for every person with at least 2 functional brain cells.
Currently TA has enough ppl to survive (lol to survive what?). I am there every single fuc*ing day so I have to know. Yes the balance is terrible but with the WRNMo template u can pretty much destroy anything but inter aegis shove spike. Yeah it's often gay and not for everyone but the option is there.
BTW: Aion is just another themepark WoW clone with shallow combat system and ubergay gear threadmill endgame so I don't rly think pvpers from GW will see it as an alternative.

If people wanted to play against the exact same templates over and over and over again they would do it in GvG.
Beating TA gimmick/fotm teams is no trophy win and isn't hard it's just boring as shit.
