My step 4 is persevering until finally getting a balanced team, and then:
a) someone on the team sucks complete ass (and yes, sometimes it's me)
b) run into a 3/4 or 4/4 sync and get rickrolled
Then step 5 is lol guild wars.

lol Lux that's awful.
I've been having mediocre luck on a hammer warrior, but really if I run into a hexer or a B bot that knows how to spam skills and a decent healer that can red bar it doesn't really matter how good I am.

Your friend Lux would say that you are just bad. It's just a matter of dchopping the B bot, then get patient on the monk and wait for your crappy pve ranger to finally dshot woh and you win. It's quite simple really.

(i emphasize if because soooo many warriors cant). a perfect q knock with a hammer is great, but with all the b stance monks out there you need wild throw, and with wild you lose shock, you know, the always there for you kd(the one you dont need to attack through anti melee hexes to charge adrenaline for). if you micro well with axe, and d-chop things, you are extremely effective. axe lets you play much better pressure also, and in ra you can easily over pressure a monk if you play right. and im not talking p rage, too many people dont kite in ra, so i use evis. many people underestimate the power of d chop in the hands of a competent warrior. its all about micro. if you are good at stance micro and skill usage frenzy isnt a liability. a lot of hammer wars i see dont q knock, so they are wasting a huge effectiveness of the build. and unless you micro right on a hammer, you are much less effective than axe. but if you have good micro on both, its just a matter of preference. i have trained myself extensively on both, and am very confident in my micro abilities. i find axe to be more effective because of the enormous pressure i create.

Evisc axe is the only build remotely equal to devhammer in the meta.
I like to run it with 16 axe and see numbers well over 100 constantly.
Advantage: Spike damage, dchop bsurge or woh.
Disadvantage: Target isn't shut down completey due to knocklock (why I normally run hammer).
16 axe evisc in RA = manliness
