Lol @ step 3, so true tho. All we need to beat that garbage is some Psi Storm which in GW would be ........ what exactly?
PS: How did you manage to get so many zerg units anyhow was your opponent asleep or something?

This is absolutely NOT why I don't like axe in RA, you are in fact trolling.
Hammers:
- Equal DPS to Eviscerate, higher than primal rage.
- Ability to completely shut down hexers.
- Trigger empathy less, able to use IAS thru SS/Empathy.
- Able to shut down sins via linebacking.
- Target is KD locked 50% of the time or more.
- Beats virtually any other melee build or class.
Really the only advantage axe has is 40% antiblind and the ability to dchop bsurge (you probably can't do this), but mostly it's just worse than hammer.
I keep wanting to run axe, but then find that running anything but devastating hammer is terribly masochistic.

I don't recall the circumstances. If we had another healer or someone on the team annoyed me, its hard telling. I get bi-polar sometimes.

sword in ra=rage of the Ntouka and final thrust while you have decent caster spike dmg.
@Gifted, you should send this in a memo to the GW staff let them know it's easily 1 year stale though.

I usually play ra about once every two weeks under the false pretense that it might be fun. Oh wait, that's the whole game

I'm found that running cripslash fairs pretty well against what most monks run in RA. Alot of monks have totally done away with condition removal, and cripslash does a good job of punishing them for it. And even mending touch does not get rid of the cripple, so you can spam frenzy on your zealous set for some scary DPS. Also landing easy bulls is pretty awesome, and so is having the ability to interrupt guardian with savage slash. the ability to basically ignore when monks use balanced stance is pretty cool, too. You lose the knockdowns, but you still retain the ability to lineback through bulls strike and crippling melee attackers. Of course, the occasional foul feast necro or melandru's resilience monk will give you problems, but every build has it's counter.

Persevere. It's so worth it.
(Although that Dev hammer - Steelfang Sword build is pretty damn awesome too!)

If RA was only about killing monks, I'd always run 16 axe Eviscerate.

Haha, you and me both.
Or sever, gash, final, bull's charge, enraging charge, frenzy, savage slash, ressig. It lets you get the manly combo of bull's, sever, gash, attack, qlock with savage, final thrust. Usually they die about there.

Hahaha, people should learn that when facing hexers, running in and pummeling stuff is the best solution. Usually people paying arenas hold a while before they really attack. When you're up against a curser you will only give him time to stack every physical in your team.
As for the rest, this thread rules, and zappa rules ^^

Hmm, theres also the scenario in which you get the perfect balanced setup, but your monk sucks.
1)party starts the fight
2)Monk dies in 2 hits
3)Monk pollutes chat:
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
I'm Attacking >insert random enemy monk<
4)you res monk, taking damage, cancelling against two d-shots, but you finally manage to res him and you degen out and die for your trouble.
5)Monk calls everyone noobs
6)Monk leaves
lol I seriously had this 4 times in a row last night, after that it was seriously time for some AB ><
People ragequitting after it takes a little while too long to kill 2 monks and 2 stance rangers are also pretty brilliant. OMG WARR U FAIL UR DAMAGE STINKS GO BACK PVE!!!!!
People monkstomping while there's a curse necro spamming faint and IP on recharge unchecked SUCK :P.
Oh, and there should be laws against spirit spammers ^^

Meh at step 2. 90% of the time I go melee, we have no healer. 90% of the time I play healer, we have another 1-2 more.
Can't win.
