Liking it so far. It's always great to see what most people can come up with. Monk healer with 3 bow skills? Yeah that will work well

i found this hilarious too. maybe you want your vigorous to cast extremely fast?
this is really an interesting format though. very tough to play but fun nonetheless. still did fine with my glimmer/VS/bonetti's/balanced stance.

It's TA with limited skill pools and no gimmicks. It's an interesting format, and can be pretty fun, but I can't see it being popular for long. Give it a few months, it's going to be another dead format.

glimmer, bonnetis, balanced, spotless mind, mend ailment, vigorous, watchful, and contemplation of purity, not playable? lol very playable for me.
if some ppl depend on pvx wiki to successfully pvp im sorry, but that's your problem, its a very good format that i hope catches on with the general community.
@arkantos : we still have to see if skill selection is trully random, but i have to disagree, if the skills truly are random day after day (not a rotation like zquests), we're basically looking at an everchanging meta, if that's not a good thing, i dont know what is.

Like it..YES
but pissed off at the fact Hero battles is gone...i dont care about Team Arenas, Random Arenas is better IMO, but Hero Battles was a different type of PvP all together..
i have delt with many nerfs/"re-balances"/etc enoughs enough wich is why im not purchasing GW2...yes arena may be fun for the first day, but give it time, it will die.

see my first post, in tonight's meta (today's skills) , the only real hexes u should pay attention to, are spiteful spirit, faintheartedness, and shame, as a monk , i ran spotless mind and contemplation of purity, i had no problems at all.

And this is why rank discrimination in CA is so pathetic. People can't rely on PvXwiki for builds & there will be no cookie-cutters for unskilled PvPers (and us PvE types ) to lean on for success. Gotta be smart to get the most out of the skills given each and every day.

I do love this new Arena. Lets me think creatively. My main char, Necro, got one of the better selections. I had SS, Faint, Suffering and Rip Enchantment right of the bat. Used Necro + WS Derv, + PR War, + Monk and easy got 10+ wins before I stopped. Haven't tried too much else yet, I used a Energy Boon ele for a bit but the only exciting thing that came from that is that someone said he recognized me from Guru.
I'm just so happy they are doing daily rotations of skills, if it was weekly I would have cried. I actually had thought it was going to be weekly in the first place, so my expectations were low. Maybe thats why I'm so happy with this at the moment.

Only bad thing I can think of is the large amount of time each battle takes (consistent 5 min+ for me). This is probably a result of both teams having similar builds, so all it comes down to is who's the better player. So i guess its a good thing.

The good thing about it is that it really does come down to player skill and not gimmicks. Something that hasn't been in PvP for a long time. As long as the majority of professions have more than one decent build every day, it looks like it's going to be decent.
