Daily rotation means no stale meta. This pleases me.

The entire point of Codex cycling sets of limited skills is to force a constantly changing meta in an attempt to place innovation and player ability over cookie cutters and lameway exploitation.
If you cannot see this, you are bad.

I thought it was kinda nice, considering i never did serious pvp.
it was a pain looking through the party search window since it was super long and kept changing. probably need to find a guild now just for some CA action.

this. please.
i was thinking it was gonna be RA style, anet can already see the failure: 8 american districts at the first day it was released. seriously.

Again... if it is going to fail, it will fail. There is no reason to troll about how "A.net is the sux" for implementing it. Why don't you just wait and see?

Considering there were 50+ districts of hero battles on red resign day having 7 or 8 districts of codex arena on opening day is really not impressive at all.
EDIT: @ the person above me: If you don't want to speculate on things, why are you on this forum at all?

All that shows is that the majority of the population left playing this game is farmers. Either that or the majority of the PvP population doesn't play anymore. Probably a combination of both actually.

There are many districts because it is a new format people wanna try.
Apart title farmers, they will desert it like TA.
Even in TA you could start a game without a team. People are going to spend more and more time at making group and playing less... and then disband to make a group again with supposedly better players/builds.
For guild players keeping playing together, its gonna be only noob farming.
Noobs will quit because of frustration. Only very good players will play, so CA is elitist and will die like TA.

The only reason the set-up time will be longer than TA was because you could rip builds off of PvX for TA.
Now you have to work and think to set up your team. And the better builds of the batch change daily. The horror!

Considering the size of the GW community, no, it's not a stupid low amount. If this was 2006 then yeah, the amount of districts would have been low, but it's 2009.

Yeah, scrubs went back to uwsc after rr ended and left a new pvp format alone.
Who could've seen that coming.

The 50 dists of RR was only for a couple hours after Anet's servers exploded.
Legitimate max was 16 or so iirc.

Do not compare RR to Codex districts.
RR was a bonehead no brainer day where you had no setup and could work independently for way too high rewards.
Codex is something that requires effort.
