You get the joke!
More on topic: Red resign would not work as well in SD as it did in HB because there is more than one person on each team. Getting 4 people to cooperate is more difficult than convincing yourself to do something.
The title is pretty irrelevant for anyone with a clue, so it really wouldn't matter if the point system was changed, at least for those who actually get long streaks.
ATs could help the format quite a bit. It could "persuade" the lower level players to stay around doing regular matches, since most of the better players would stick to the ATs.

Red resign for CA would be near impossible if you are doing it to farm title because there is a good chance you will be red once out of the five times it takes to get a point.

It, however, makes sense if you play to farm zquest.

at bunny, im sorry we have played optimal builds with my regular mates to near perfection, can we ever redeem our sins, oh mighty one? (and no, we didnt play turret wail of doom spike like most of the ppl did before TA was wiped)
Not surprised ure embracing CA the way u are.
at vazze, yes, I AM serious. To create something to replace something else that is SUPPOSEDLY beyond all possibilities of being fixed just so you can fix things in that new creation that have actually pestered its predecessor is hardly logical or of any use. Not to mention downright sad and ridiculous.
So, once again, NO. Go whine somewhere else and eat what TA had to eat up for years after years.
To reinforce my point with the most stereotypical (and sadly, quite truthful) statement from a similar thread:
Now GET OVER IT. Just cuz certain Miatch and certain Kaon and certain whoever play the arena now doesnt mean it should nor will get any more attention it was meant to receive. Zero.

The only thing that can be concluded from this post is that it is in fact that time of the month.

my point was u can stop complaining about OP skills and asking for a balance in CA, because its the last thing it was meant to receive. Enjoy the glory of EDA, wounding strike, multiple healers/support characters or quit and go complain (again) about the issues pestering gvg instead, for it definitely is more legit than to cry about CA's "imbalances" regarding particular skills that have been pestering TA long enough and nothing was done about it.
oh and if u cant detect any, then i guess ur reading comprehension deteriorated in that cave of urs.
at talania, sorry, cant read what ure saying. uve been shot, remember? so do go R.I.P. with ur HB.

Oh...You online Gangsta! Why are you replying to a shot person
Btw telling people to stop complaining isn't really making a point...Its more a case of you being a spoiled little brat that throws toys out the pram when you can't have your own way. I feel sorry for people with atitude like you have, it must be a miserable existence. You want to borrow my razor?
Oh no wait your life has too much meaning, you was good at a deleted format in a dead game

I don't really care much about individual skills in CA (though don't get me wrong I would support a nerf to EDA/Wounding Strike) what annoys me is how often they show up and this can be fixed very easily by toning down the amount of skills for NF professions.
Considering ANet just went through a lot of trouble designing and implementing the format I assume they would be willing to spend a bit more time finetuning it.
I know you're mad about TA being removed but well, even if it wasn't removed I doubt very many people would still play TA when they could be playing CA instead. (and yes I'm aware that you and your handful of TA buddies wouldn't, no one cares)
TA was simply beyond fixing without drastic changes to skills which we've already seen from GvG is simply not gonna happen, if they added a ladder 2 years ago and gave the format (or skillbalance in general) more attention/consideration than they did then maybe it would be a different story.
To me it's kinda funny that (what, in my opinion, saved the format from being degenerate and boring) adding the HB maps to the map pool was complained about because it made it more difficult to grind titles.
I really hope that in GW2 titles will be better implemented because it seems that most people give more about a number on an online game than deriving actual enjoyment from playing.

Maybe. Or maybe (and more likely) its a make-and-forget-about-it type of format.

I'm not so mad about TA being removed (though they could've at least preserved the arena (only the outpost) for historic value, if nothing more...), as I am about people suddenly asking for nerfs of skills completely irrelevant to gvg (and very relevant to TA) - why not fixing those skills for TA already then?
For the record, I haven't had a regular team months before TA was removed and most of the builds one faced weren't particularly fun to play against, so yeah.
And yeah, in the said case it'd be a whole different story.
HB should've never existed to start with - it was TA that rightfully deserved and needed what HB was given. The fact not only TA but also HB were removed proves HB was a faulted implementation of an arena to start with - the focus should've been on TA instead of reckless new implementations.

I just REALLY hate running around and capping shrines - it is something more common and perhaps, more suitable too, for bigger scale arenas like HA and ultimately gvg.
I also agree with the opinion on titles. Any ideas on how they should be implemented though?

Actually, it would be great if we could hear from the devs whether or not they are watching CA if it needs to be tweaked.
I think there are some solid concerns about the future of the arena even if it is lively these days. After all they do know what is going on there, while we can only be guessing.
EDIT:
Edited OP to include a more complete list of the most pressing issues.

Actually HB maps are the only solution to the problems CA has. Its problem isn't skill balance but the format design that is pretty much similar to RA. The stupid 4on4 without any tactical options promotes a certain meta which doesn't have to be flexible and therefore is lame by definition.
If Anet replaced the RA-maps by the HB maps, we'd have an excellent format that could really be called PvP. The tactical element of HB is awesome and allows much more options than GvG does atm and all the problems it had in HB are none in Sealed Deck anymore.
A format that balances itself and in which the team with more skill really wins.
Now we have the chance to get it.
Add a ladder and (m)ATs and we have the ultimate format that is about a thousand times more fun than this stupid RA copy.
