Weird but pro bar in Ra
Ive been thinking a lot since the day i was a monk in RA...
I have never seen such a build before. A ranger had a pet and also had d-chop and d-shot... It was really weird...At that time i thought too myself, what a noob. But in reality though, he did such a great job of shutting me down =]. He was both versatile at the build and knew what he was doing. He even had enough time to quarter step me with his axe and somehow switched to his bow in a way so that he could interupt me. I dont know if his interupts was based on his reflexes, or maybe timing but really, IT WAS AMAZING. I was so focused on him having an axe, that i forgot the rest of his skill bar. I am still uncertain if his build had a some sort of a knockdown but it couldnt have been any more LEET. Out of a skill bar only containing 8 skills, all i could recall there being, was D-Shot/D-chop and a Pet-Black Widow<- most likely charm Animal. In all my days monking, i had never been so proud to have died in such a way. It was both inspirational and flattering. I recall seeing him in RA a while back just afk, he had Obsidian Armor, Chaos Gloves, a Mask of Mo Zing, and a Really High Gladiator Title(4-8 i dont remember). Since that day ive been wanting to make a wierd build that included d-shot/d-chop or some sort of wierd combo that could be turned into something so deadly and unexpected. (If he/she sees this on guru, i want u to know ur my hero..lol ^^)
So, this is what i have came up with so far:
[OgESM5LHjFsL9xFHAAQA]
Devastating hammer,Crushing Blow, HammerBash, D-shot, Lightning Reflexes.
Call it noob if u like but somehow, it works for me =]
Im looking forward to seeing your Crazy/Creative Builds
~Feel Free to even post Screenies of ur build/s in action, or if someone else that you may have taken a screen of

It's not too creative but I've put [[Power Block] on a generic axe bar as the Elite before with 10 in Domination Magic. I haven't seen anyone else do this before but it worked pretty well.

W/Me With Power Spike doesn't register?
My current RA Bar, proven to be pro when with a ballanced team -
Dev Hammer, Flail, Overbearing Smash, Fierc Blow, Yeti Smash, Power Spike, Enraging Charge, Res sig.
The 1-5 has perfect Qknock, no need for a step and hello Daze.

One of my RA heroes (I know his IGN but won't post it) uses d-shot and natural stride as a WoH monk. He is pretty decent, but I laugh every time I see him.

I have a thing for symbolic strike. Res sig and one other utility sig and you have basically cleave, another and you have executors. I have a decent W/P with too the limit and sig of aggression, you go in fully charged, spike off the bat, recharge and go kill something else.
Also Rage of the Ntouka is a bit underrated I think, same deal as the too the limit sig of aggression deal, you can spike twice quickly at the expense of a slight down time. at 13 str you get sentinels insigia and 6 shots of juice on demand, enough to charge most non elite axe attacks, at 14 you can charge body blow, and are 1 strike from executors. Whack the first thing that over extends or looks soft, the ra monk will blow his prots and red bar, then you rage, and hit the next target right away.
Also been having some good results with mind shock of all things. Inspired by the bat things in the dungeons, I tried a air spike bar, lightning orb or hammer, then mind shock and a followup hit. Worked augury of death into the mix sometimes. Monks in RA don't really know how to prot, you catch anything with their enchantpants down and there goes 2/3s of their HP. Make sure you call it and your moron allies might actually score a kill. Spamming water hexes works a similar way too. You hit with shatter stone, then freezing gust, rust and glowing ice with blur vision in reserve for antimelee. The combo recharges very fast.
Also there was this A-Hole once with death charge and broad head arrow...

Because BSurge isn't brainlessly overpowered in 4v4... 1-1-1-1-1-1 OLLOLOLOL Look at ME! I can stop 5/10 profession by pressing just one key! *rolls face on keyboard sum moar*
Seriously... if you have to go out of your way and degrade your strength attribute (lowering it to 10) just to spec into an already-nerfed 15e cost elite [Power Block] that acts like Blackout, but that is even more conditional [have to interrupt the target], that means there's something wrong in the picture, here... Maybe you're just unwilling to see B.Surge go? Maybe YOU yourself are a fervent B.Surge user and want to continue rolling face for wins instead of see the skill finally get balanced?

Surely you see running PBlock is nothing more than a joke. You don't have to take it to such extremes; 3 Dom for PSpike or 3 Insp for PDrain produces largely the same results, but less laughter.

You're a moron. There's always the option of running weird/unconventional builds for lulz. You seriously take this game way too seriously. Funny thing is, you're probably really terrible if you thought b-surge was really that bad. Which is funny, because in pvp I exclusively play melee and the only time I had issues with blind was with eles using both surge and flash, or teams with two b-surge.

God those GvG bsurge builds are annoying...
Here's another build for warriors if you want some fun spike damage (and have a slightly patient team).
W/Rt 12 Axe, 12 Str, 3 Communing
Sundering Weapon
Keen Chop
Body Blow
Decapitate
Optional (Bull's Strike usually)
Burst of Aggression
Enraging Charge
Res
282 damage in 2 seconds, DW and Cracked armour just before decapitate. <3
LOLOLOLOLOLOL.

You talk as if you've ever seen me play [which you never have]. I stop BSurgers with almost any melee I Use, but that's not the point. The point is that, when comparing the effort of a BSurger and standard melee, it takes alot of trouble for meleers to get around a simple, mindless BSurger pressing 1-1-1-1-1.
As a hammer warrior, I have to count recharge times, get on anti-blind shield + armor rune of clarity, hope my kd attacks are charged up, approach lame surger as blinds about to wear off, then kd-lock + overbearing smash him. Hope to God he's not laming even further and has Disciplined Stance, Distorion, etc...
As my assassin, I just have to hope he's not /N with rip/strip enchantments and I got him.
As my ranger, M.Touch + dshot/sshot ftw.
As Derv, Featherfoot Grace + rune of clarity, wait for blind to wear off, and WS him to death.
I'm not saying it's impossible to stop them, I'm just saying it takes far too much effort to do so whereas all the LameSurger has to do is press 1-1-1-1-1 on you, and if he has B.Flash, 1-2-1-2-1-2 you.
B.Surge got toned down a bit at least, so I'm no longer complaining. The blind could be toned down to 7 seconds for an added second of countering time... but that's just me.

I usually do not bring BSurge but after some rounds with annoying sins bringing felt infinite KDs BSurge becomes an attractive option...

I used to run a gimmick 130 hp necro that could weapon swap to 210 health.
I ran protective bond, spoil victor, masochism, touch of agony, dark pact, blood renewal, life siphon, androgon's gaze.
Find an unsuspecting melee, engage, slap on spoil victor, slap on cover hex, spam attacks to gain energy, slap spoil victor on monk, lol as the monk can no longer redbar their team. I can only imagine what the enemy monk is seeing on their side when their sin suddenly just lost 500+ health within 4 seconds. Best memory ever: warrior running to me spearing in frenzy, and quickly running away after the realization that he's just lost 400 health in a second. Managed to get 22 wins with this bar once, on a team w/o a monk.
