Help with Prophecies Necromancer PVP
I only have Prophecies with no expansion and I can change between Necro/Mes and Necro/Mo. I can't really kill them fast enough so I eventually end up dying before I can kill anyone. Can someone help me put together a good build?

necromancers arent direct damage dealers like warriors and fire elementalists are, your best choice for necromancer in RA would be something curses. Trys something like this N/Mo
12 +1 helm +1 minor runeCurses = 14
9 no minor rune Soul Reaping = 9
8 +1 minor rune = 9
5 protection magic = 5
for runes get superior vigor and 2 other things.. whatever you want
Draw Conditions
Insidious Parasite
Faintheartness
Res signet
Plague Sending
Parasidic Bond
Rend Enchantments
Offering of Blood (Elite)
see if that works, dont use offering of blood too much. im testing it right now lol

Emuking's build is quite nice proph only nercro build. Your attributes are just all wrong. You don't need soul reaping to anything. Try something like 12+1+1 curses, 11+1 blood, rest to prot prayers. You could also replace rend enchantment with barbed signet if you aren't removing important echantments.

Gonna stop you here.
If you are playing with people you know, then talk to them, don't talk to us.
If you are planning on pugging, then you are almost guaranteed to get dropped the very moment that you can't bring a skill because you don't have an expansion.
If this is RA/AB/FA/JQ then stop thinking, throw some skills on the bar, and keep pushing "enter mission".

Great advice, we need more terrible players in these formats. Also, in general, I dislike any attempt at improvement in any field and wish everyone would just think less.

Those formats are not won by competency, but back lack of competency by your opponents.
Your own skill has a very loose correlation with winning in those formats. Usually improvement will increase the amount one wins. However in these formats, all of the improvement in the world will have very little effect and the only direct way to increase the amount you win is to just keep pushing "enter mission".

Not even worth listening to. If this guy plays ra at all, he probably bots based on his mantra.
As I was once a prophecies only necromancer I really feel for you. All the necro elites were pretty terrible back then and most still are. If you decide to go blood, go with soul leech and lingering curse if you decide to go with curses. Spiteful spirit is too expensive and is an inferior version of empathy considering most players will not ball together. Blood has been buffed so you should definitely go try it out, but that curses+draw/plague send build emuking posted will definitely help out your team. Also try to keep an open mind and use some all around utility skills from other professions to fill in the gaps. For instance I used to put dshot on my necro , experiment! You'll find some fun builds to play.

That's what we'd say about anyone that takes RA seriously.
Back to the OP, I'm the only one that is giving you an honest response. You really cannot play pvp unless you have all of the expansions. Everyone else is trying to "be nice," but I'm just trying to save you some pain down the road.

I'm going to assume you're not talking about GvG/HA (sorry, but those formats require expansion skills), in which case what emuking posted is going to be fairly strong to run with.
You'll benefit greatly from Barbed Signet + Life Siphon, with the buffs that have been going out to old spells (curse degen + bleed: you'll get spammable degen).
Don't quote me on it, but I really want to say that you can buy PvP-only expansion packs (i.e. NF/Factions/EotN skills w/out the xpack) if you want to. Might be in their online store, and those are always an alternative if you find yourself wanting new things to play with down the road.
