Seriously? whats with all the fanatical opposition to using voice chat. It gives you an edge (no matter what you may think) voice chat >>>>>>> typing in every situation, its faster, you dont have to a) type it or b) read it detracting from you actually playing.

Having someone say on vent for example, empathy on 2 uncovered is magnitudes more useful than some1 ctrl click spamming empathy on their debuff bar.

The reason that people often don't need to use these chat programs is that the game has died down significantly and people quite honestly don't give a damn anymore.

Ventrilo takes effort for some people and can often cause frustrations. Mainly because you are playing with people who some may care and some who may not.

Listen to music. Do your job in your organized team in PvP. Enjoy the game.

shitter builds can be run at full capacity with no voip to farm UW and fetid skip to shrines and to gates

anything with tactics like gvg and other HA maps need voip

also needed to run nonshitter builds or builds that spike

so what you say isnt really true... its just ur a shitter
