Meta Change
So currently the meta in ha is obviously multiple AoB dervs that blow stuff up, usually three per party. Would it be possible to use two mesmers to almost completely shut down a team like this? A popular build when running two mes is dual migraine. They shut down monks very quickly with the hexes. Could dropping one skill on each bar for ancestors/sympathetic visage also shut down the dervs? One cast on a target being pressured could result in all adrnl loss and a good bit of energy (aoe). Dervs need both of those for dmg. Ofc the arguement will be "derv will stop atk." Be honest, before someone notices they are losing energy per hit it has already been a few.
Critique and stuff. Ty.

Energy has never been a problem to derves.
The only way to stop them is heavy snaring ex. newly nerfed Grasping, snares from Illusion line or UG ele.

the hex spells and partywide defensive skills that were any good at shutting down physical characters have all been nerfed into shit over the last 3 years. So there's nothing left to contest the dominance of these physical characters. It sucks but it's true =/

I think dual visage MoR mesmer works well and is fun to play. I haven't tested it much though but I encourage you to. However, it pretty much only works if you are using triple dervish as well so you can rely on dervishes to kill and split

What's to keep 3 dervishes a necro and possibly a ranger from outsplitting you if it somehow works on keeping their damage output in check? Last I checked, hexheavy builds suck hardcore at splitting. Besides, what do you really have that threatens their backline if you dedicated 2 characters in addition to your backline to shutting their frontline down?
Another thing to keep in mind is whether you will get counter buildwars in your face, and what you can actually do against that.

Lately I thought of SpNv build with dual ineptitude and AoM 5/3 split.
Wondering how would it work against current meta.
