but yeah, frag with dervs is RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing ridiculous. GW2 better be the best damn game ive ever played, considering how they left GW to rot because of it.

Be fair - triple Derv with Fevered Dreams Mesmers didn't exist last mAT, and we had people like Happy Feet declare that they've tested Dervs post-nerf and they're fine, etc etc etc.
And lol @ people who never win mATs complaining about joke guilds winning mATs. Conveniently forgetting about mATs like the one where having bodyguard up while the other team doesn't = instant win, too. Short term memory is good.

I enjoyed watching Mistral Edge back in the day. They used lame thumpers with barbs + eoe at a time when GvG was probably at its stalest. It was refreshing.
This Fevered Dreams + dervish stuff is way too much though. I'm surprised they didn't use one Grenth for disease.

There are just too many problems in GvG, although the mode is very fun
- AT and MaT are way too long... every normal tournament is 3 hours , in which you face the same guild usually , and MaT was 4 hours if no playoffs seriously....even tennis fights aren't lasting that long..
- The meta is not fun at all to fight , especially when you have 7 rounds against the exact same build.. Furthermore , it leads to joke fights , such as finals , and usually ,except for a few cases , build matters more than players... Other consequence is , like we had today , everyone is running mat winner build , which leads to incredibly passionating fights....
- Boxes were a good idea , but , you don't earn any when win on lord damage , nor when less than 5min ... those cases represent 90% of GvG fights , what's the point...
Besides , flux wasn't generally a good idea this month.. Last one it almost didn't do anything , and this time ,it made several won fights lost because of it ... Not really fair in my opinion...
But , like some people said , i hope that they will know what to nerf , and not do usual stuff , like i believe, which would be nerfing fevered dreams....

The real problem with FD is that dervs can spam condition AoE without hits nothing.
So...FD on prot...prot cast Guardian...AoT+Pious Fury = Criple+Bleeding+Daze.

at least it wasnt a full hexover with necs and mesmers like a few months ago by some other guild rolling the derv 'balanced' in 7 mins!
Boo seems to be only partially following its TA tradition!

Re-applying the same condition has the same effect as adding another one.
Balths pump out conditions faster than grenths.

FD shouldn't apply Daze at all, just revert it to how the skill was before it got hit with a random dartboard buff. Dervishes are a bigger problem, that part is true, but to claim FD is fine is asinine.

FD is fine as it is.
Its the fact that dervs can churn out conditions like a motherRED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOer which tips it into the broken category.

Conditions are very easy to apply anyway, sure Dervishes make it more retarded, but you could easily swap out the Dervs for 2 sword Warriors and a second Ranger. The build wouldn't be as strong as with current Dervishes, but FD would still be absolutely retarded.
FD was perfectly fine before it got buffed to add Daze, it is now too strong (yay powercreep), just change it back to exactly how it was before dartboard buff. I can't believe how much this community has fallen when they consider the current FD fine.

I would give you FD as being a little over the top at most.
The daze is a moot point, the bigger problem is the hum sig, frag, and derv train that comes after the FD.
Would be almost worth putting it in the dom line to stop packing FD frag and hum sig on the same bar.
Don't forget about the flipside of the power creep, which is monks adapting and becoming harder to pressure out.

Daze isn't a moot point though really, at least not as long as it is ran with Frustration. I also don't see Frustration as the problem, the skill really isn't all that powerful without daze, OR sacrificing damage for interrupts.
Switching the skill to the Dom line would kill the skill more then just removing the Daze IMO.
