All of the above. I'm basically either looking for backline shutdown or to improve on the meta. Idk, GW is almost as old as some of the people who play it nowadays, im just looking to do something different thats still as/more effective.

I mean, there's nobody as good as Mitch around anymore. But there are plenty of people who still know how to count recharges, time a dervision, and reflex a 3/4s.

Then your concept is confused and as such so your build will be which will ultimately hurt any performance of the build.

Your thought process needs to move away from bumping roles such as shutdown, damage or versatility around between characters since all its done so far is move the respective role to a character who does it less efficiently.
A whole different thing to consider is whether you're out to unrealistically reinvent the entire meta with a new "fits all" spikebuild that'll work on every map and against every build. You could quite possibly make some neat spikebuild that'll work well for a map or two(burning/jade likely) and do well against other spikes or standard meta "honor".
Anything else however, is just not likely to happen at all given what you've shown us so far.
