Little Thom apparently thought that was the manual. He did that to me in the norn bison challenge.
I remember when you could have as many minions as you could keep alive.
I remember when 2006 necro blood spike was pretty much dominated by one guy and he lived in halls. In fact, once they took the altar, they weren't leaving until someone got tired. I cannot remember his name now. Anyhow, there was a guy in my guild who had a major man crush on him and whenever his team name would spam across the chats, he squealed in lust over vent.
(some exaggeration)

Nah, it was a pick up, it was something like 'such and such's team', kind of thing. I do recall VoR though.

The main problem is that you know, at sometimes you could wonder if the game could be even worse, and yes they went on and today there are dervishs and invokers everywhere...
They should probable have never done any update past 2008 at least..

What coast said.
Also, it was And Then And Then And Then And [Then]
Altough I never got what the name meant, I always assumed it was from "Dude's where my car?" when the little chinese lady keeps saying it.

I remember when the game was alive and fun.
I remember the feeling I got when I played GW1 for the first time ever. I felt like I was in such a fun and exciting world. I was impressed by the beautiful graphics, the music, the convincing AI, the vast areas, all the quests and missions were fresh and new to me, and everything wasn't nerfed into oblivion... *sigh* I sure do miss them days... ._.

Instead of Guild Wars 2, they should release Guild Wars Classic, w/o Factions/Nightfall!
Also, market/campaign it in Korea/Europe as well!

Unlimited ritualist spirits in Factions WPE,
Sliding out the left side of the portal in Granite Citadel into the zone, without zoning.
People whining about elite skills in Ascalon Arena.

from what i can remember, its been a long time
pvp:
gale warriors
balth aura stacked and earthshaker
rspike with OoP and OoV when it was serious(not that glass arrows shit)
having a tiger meant you were pretty good at the game
blood spike or ranger spike held for hours because of alter hold
5 team HoH, 4 teams had to fight just to play against the team holding
scared earth when it was 6 teams, and EoE raped
Sacred temple when you had to run relics across the map with the gate at one end, man i loved and hated that map lol
the first double fame weekend when there were about 30-40 districts
and if you started to HA when 6v6 came out you still don't know real HA
FoC spike
IWAY when it was actually fun (4 w/r with spirits,1 trapper, 1 spirit ranger, 1 oop necro, 1 healer)
watching GWWC in obs mode
factions preview weekend
nightfall preview weekend when everything was broken
when Korean guilds actually had Koreans
when America held favor all day
the zaishen were called the unworthy
the rifts
tombs (people just use the term now to seem cool when in fact they never played during those times)
when you actually had to log off and reroll just to chance your secondary profession and armor
chest spawned in the middle of the altar
HA test weekend where there was death count
pve:
thunderhead keep was impossible to beat
sup absorb was 100k
sup vigor was 50k
ectos = 50k each
spamming tigers in ToA
when sorrows furnace opened up and got green items was like hitting the lottery
100k was a shit ton of money
the roll back when sup absorb and ectos were 100g each
bots spamming there stuff in ascalon id1
this is just some of the stuff i remember, im sure i have old pictures somewhere

They actually should have kept stuff like they were...:
1- Although anyone who played the map will say it was a joke, it was i guess still more original than maps today since it really required tactics and the map was really big... The Antechamber today is just terrible it's usually about how long your ghost is dead...
2- This was actually cool, although maybe a bit " luck relying" . This + fevor of gods made people play for the fun and not for the reward... Guess it today with syncers, OP builds users, addicts playing 24/7 ...
3- One PvE mission at least challenging would have been nice... to not make PvE easy to finish entirely in 3 hours like it is today...
4-5- Most important points that wouldn't have made the game a farming industry with UW and DoA enginners working 24/7 and complaining at others when they're 15 sec too slow...
