Rodgort's Spike in tombs.
Favorite memory also has to be Shadow Prison sin in AB before the nerf.

When WoH couldn't be cast on yourself.
Minion Factory / EoE Bomb / ViMWay Trappers in HA were all good fun.

I gotta say i'm half agreeing with this...It depends how well you( and others) know players..I probably won't consider someone from [LaG] playing dervish the same i would consider a few players from [eB] ....However , the only players i wouldn't flame are people who make the build.... I guess the guild who created Bbway for example doesn't deserve to be flamed for running it ....
But on the other hand yes , it's pretty annoying when clueless people are giving random assumptions with no sense....Most problematic though is about people making their opinions about what they read ... such as " bwaa this guy is running signet sin , he is a lamer !!!" ( a RoJ monk in JQ called me that..); " whoru? whoru?? " ....and you get those kiddies spamming you , not understanding anything , etc....
Unfortunately though , it's quite hard to judge someone playing dervish today , since there's almost 0 diference between a beginner using it and an exped player....( except GvG maybe for tactics...)

People play builds they are good at. Nothing wrong with that. What makes you really good at HA is being good at what you run, and also being able to adapt to any situation. Most people find their niche over time. Lets take that rit for example in eB. He is good at his role (not saying he is a good HA'er). Why would he want to play warrior which he may not be good at?
Some people play hammer warrior always. Most of this category make a bad axe war, but seem to do reasonable in hammer war. Take for example this Hookah guy , he plays nothing but hammer war ( thats his best and possibly favourite role - although he has lots of room for improvement). Although he is pretty bad in HA, he still plays hammer.
If people find they can play dervish better and find themselves being more effective than any other bar, nothing wrong in them playing it. A team is as good as its weakest player. Just to see this point in action, last weekend. I made 4 randomways. I only specified to the team if they could run, frontline, midline or backline.
round 1 AM hours Sat: we had 1 sin, I was axe, 1 incindiary, mesmer, smite monk and standard bl. 6 consecs. We had no mh/soc/snare but we won relics + shrines, lost in halls.
round 2 noon Saturday: I was axe, we had 4 mesmers running random bars, including a bar out of keystone signet. standard bl. Full run to halls, 1v1 koth. beat all teams flawlesss including eB. However, this team was mostly flist.
round 3 PM hours: We had 1 sword war, I was air ele, 2 dervishes, mesmer, smiter, standard bl. 5 consces b4 lose at courtyard. We beat eB again with this random setup.
round 4 Sunday PM hours: 2 axe wars (one which was me), and 1 sword warrior, 1 mesmer, 1 air ele, aura of faith prot bl. Full run to halls to face 1v1 koth.
Why were all runs successful. Its because, I let people play their favourite pvp bars. Get your leet flist , and pug any r10 + and let them play their most favourite bars, which they know they are effective at. snares/mh/soc are only really required in courtyard + halls.
If people want to play dervish, its their choice. They might find it easy/good at it. If you cant win, start looking at your own team rather than the other teams builds. Any pvp build made for pvp should work with the right people.

If you guys want to discuss this, create a thread or re-open one of the HA threads, don't hijack this great thread. Despite rolling nubs all day yesterday and today with our spike - greatest moment was destroying blue and yellow ghost within 8 seconds of koth halls starting- you're mainly pointing out 1v1 situations but when real co-ordination or meta builds are required (what i mean by this are skills that are just plainly better than others like the Dervishes), you lost. Mostly.
Your point is valid, Vinoth. But you're forgetting the direct correlation of skill to effectiveness. A dervish doesn't have any correlation of the two... Nor does eB (Teehee).
back to the actual thread and adding to my other post...
I remember
trolling outposts arguing that Guild Wars was much better than World of Warcraft
ViMway was strong.
When AB was fun. Shadow Prison and bsurge sins lool.
QQing before templates and PvP equipment creation was implemented.
the old TA outpost.
the Paladin build was a recommended build provided upon PvP creation xDDD

I remember when TA was 1 point/10 wins.
It's a dagger to my heart to see this now:
"-The Gladiator title now awards points for every consecutive win in Random Arena, starting with the second. "
And to top that, no title adjustment is planned.
