I remember
The 5 man SF run, unlimited minions + mark of pain = BOOM everything is dead.
The chest farm right outside granite citadel, that eventually lead to the rune pricing nerf.
When Sup Vigor was 80k and Sup Absorb was 100k
I remember when THK was the hardest mission in the game

Man, 5-man SF runs takes me back. Back when Drago's Flatbow cost 80k and groups would break up because someone didn't bring Winnowing.

Welll.....
Multi-quote isn't working for me tonight, but I remember when it was Tombs, before it turned into a PvE farming outpost.
I remember the original spirit spam with original Nature's Renewal.
I remember sigils going for well over 100k.
I remember praying each night that sB or iQ would get their asses online and take favor for America so I could go to UW. (This was prior to my major foray into PvP myself, during which I met and played with and against many of the players I admired and respected for their knowledge of and ability in the game.)
I remember dancing with Lucis in ID1 of Tombs at 2am in the morning when we both would have finals the next day.
I remember when you had to use points to change your attributes. What did they used to call those?
I remember when the only thing of value a PvP'er could earn was sigils. There was no Balthazar faction. No HoH chest. No Zkeys. And only one sigil dropped. Then they increased it to 3, I think.
Oh, and I remember the one build to pwn you all and kill two battling teams simultaneously, leaving the third team the victor: Edge bomb.

I remember when Tombz was still Tombz, Burial Mounds was multiple teams, Broken Tower, King of the Kill, Oppressive Gaze blood spike, Power of My Rangers(-spike), MATH (real) iway, GW World Championship on Observe Mode, Spirit Spam, Edge Bombs... a lot of good stuff
Also: Icy Dragon Sword, Farming ettins for runes, chest running hell's precipice, W/Mo-ing griffons in Prophets Path, Elite skill capping in Mineral Springs, running W/Mo to Dronkars Forge, Lost Strongbox, Rotscale pre-buff, Sorrow's Furnace 5man teams, Barrage/Pet teams in Tombs and FoW.

I remember Tigers Fury wars in TA/RA.
I remember playing NR/Tranq mirror matches in TA, man those were fun.
I remember Running Triple Thumpers in TA, the most fun TA build ever IMO.
I remember when Thunderclap was bugged to not be removed when you ran out of energy.
I remember going to Temple of Balth and seeing how many minions I could summon with guildies before the mm nerf, we summoned so many our clients crashed.
I remember derv spike during the NF PvP Preview weekend.
I remember when Obs mode first came out and people actually talked while observing matches.
I remember the first trader reset, the one they didn't rollback.
I remember gvg teams running 2 copies of blackout and blacking out both monks before a spike.
I remember watching WM completely wipe against some no name rank 300 guild then WM shrine resd and steamroll them and their guild lord in under 2 minutes.
I remember the first guild I joined was a lord rushing guild that would run the back way with charge and gank the lord before the other team knew what hit them. This was before the lord damage cap was ever introduced and before archers had pin down.

Reminds me.
Anyone remember how nature rituals used to function?
Now that was some serious shit.
Also, Pleak was what, -50 energy or something like that?
Oman, balancing was never a force Anet had on their side.

Yes. Oath Shot recharged them all and the ranger could spit out as many as he wanted. The altar maps used to be so full of the holding team's spirits, there was very little hope of even getting to them to be able to kill them.
I remember when holding teams used to arrange (via vent/TS or whispers) for their successor to take over holding from them. I was a member more than once of the team coming in to take over. When you arrived at HoH, the current holding team helped you kill the opposition and then they basically just quit playing so that you took the altar. I know it was more common when holding builds were designed to do only that: hold the altar until the players got tired.

Well, in the original function only the mesmer signet could remove nature rituals, and it had a 1 minute recharge, but yeah that's basically it.
For anyone wanting a bit more nostalgia on annoyance, korean SoMW holding teams keeping favor for them for days when factions was released. God that was so boring.

The only teams that we actually couldn't kill were ones that either spec'd us in some retardedly obnoxious fashion (like with a bonder or something absurd like that) and the 1 linebacking hammer warrior, 1 EDA derv 1 necro build. Unless you brought crit defenses on both of your sins I couldn't see our variant of dual paragon losing to that.
