Guy posting the pretty bad mo/d bar inspired me, to make a decent mo/d.
25 Flawless wins iirc, ele was on his first full run ever
Never liked healing burst in RA, but with all the dervishes and degen going on it's pretty amazing.

Do you kite with fleeting or just use it for the anti KD?

Both.
You can tank dervishes pretty well when AoS is up.

I used that bar for a bit (vigorous for rejuv) and found it great but lacking against multiple kd teams.
When I was using it I found fleeting great for kiting (most frontliners give up and attack other targets) but the problem is the abundance of cripple, so when using draw you usually get snared.
I sorta countered this by bringing aura of thorns instead of armor of sanctity, but really it's personal preference, not as good as woh fortress but much more fun...

I really dont like vig spirit on something else than bonetti chuckers, it tends to eat my energy real hard on long battles.
Rejuv is awesome energy management.
If you REALLY want to have fun monking, play Mo/A with Heart of Shadow/Vipers Defense + Return and teleport up and down to play catch me if you can

Hahaha I love that. Once you understand the map terrains and where you can teleport to and from, you can really confuse the enemy and make their melee ineffective. Also, Dark Escape is a boss skill when your getting invoked or surged.

I also noticed that running Shield of Regen mo/el ( with glyph and djinn haste) works kinda nice against all these dervishs.I actually played a lot now and the only fights i did lose were when oppos had either perfect team ,either 2 dervish and curse nec... rest are easy wins and even , i believe someone using skills randomly could even hold some dervishs...
Build is : SoR , glyph , djin haste , divine intervention, guardian , 1 remove cond , soa and rof. ( Not saying it's optimal build , but i found it was effective vs the ton of grenth dervishs i fought , and still doing ok vs classic team builds..)

Not to offend you, but perhaps it was how you were using the builds, not what you were using.. One I see a lot is Invoke ele which has big spike damage and can control melee to an extent with blinding flash:
http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:E/any_RA_Invoke
In the optional slot I think I would put enfeeble for more anti melee. Read the wiki page but I'd suggest you just need a + 20% enchant for your attunement and throw on whatever else you want. A 40/40 cast set and as many shield sets as you can take. The main ones, I would say, are slashing (scythes), blunt (hammers) and fire and lightning. Lightning is for coming against people running the same build.
Another air build which seems like it is becoming used much less often is B surge:
http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:E/N_RA_BSurge
Just blind/weaken/cracked armor everything. I think it's being used less than invoke because invoke has such large spike damage and also Blinding Flash, so it covers both areas better. Same equipment as above.
Finally the Mind Blast ele:
http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:E/any_Min...t_Elementalist
This is why a fire shield is good. One good thing about a MB ele is even if fire attunement gets stripped you can still keep your energy up while spamming skills (remember to keep spamming MB on people with low energy like melee). Take a res sig as one optional and another defence skill. After trying the Mo/D build above I'd recommend taking armor of sanctity. It's a very good skill, just remember it will work best when the person is adjacent to you (i.e. getting trained by grenth derv) because you will weaken them and get the damage reduction.
These were the first 3 builds I thought of and they were also the 3 builds in the meta section of pvx, so I'm not sure why people were calling you a noob for your build. But then again, this is RA. Hope this helps!
Also, if you are using a pvp character and want to try out all the builds then you may want to use some equipment templates to make it a bit easier.

maybe that's true but somehow I have confidence in my skills and I don't think it was the point. i was told that i have bad build (I was using the last one which you recommended). I'll try to use the first one.
Thank you

So myself and a buddy of mine..just uh.. happen to get into the same RA matches together.
He's running a AoG derv with crip sweep, aura slicer, and wearying strike, and the other standard stuff.
And I was running this build :
Fevered Dreams
Fragility
Leech Signet
Signet of Humility
Drain Enchantment
Arcane Conumdrum
Drain Enchantment
Bonetti Defence
Res sig
Edit: I also go /N , and replace Bonettis, and Humility sig with Barb sig and Oppressive gaze.
We had pretty good success, but we still would lose now and then.
I was wondering how maybe I could 'optimize it' ? ( Assume there's a condition heavy person with me, and we have a monk.)

it's RA, you can run anything!
just no flare, no healing breeze, no flame burst/backfire on a secondary ele or mesmer, anything along those lines and you're golden. as long as you're not full of sup runes and radiant insignias with 60 armor and a 40/20 staff like most players are!
to me, that's the whole purpose of RA. to experiment and try new stuff, brownie points if you've got enough of a clue to be something more than a distraction that dies in 2 hits! here's some stuff i've ran that turned out to work well and be fun.
OwIT8WoZ5R3MTEIb6WCHh2sZAA - Mo/R boon prot with a pet, i got 15 wins with this once and it was glorious
OglkkwLGzWKTR2ruKaHtCkRqQAA - just a truly annoying yet effective ele bar based around stoning and water trident. ash blast works if you don't like wild throw.
any necro bar with depravity. got so many 25ers running a deprav necro, why don't more people do this? they'd rather run aura of the lich or some worthless shit like that :\
OwFAMYlA4z7/1/4fJFBA skull crack daze/exhaustion dps sin, monks die real good.

Haha, first time I've had 3 dervs on my team-- it was humorous to say the least.
We're just lucky we didn't run into a bsurge along the way; lots of EDA but that was easy to deal with because the dervs weren't retarded.
14prot/11div/8earth
Standard weapon swaps/ +vs shield
Dervs were all AoG

I knew a monk that was running it very successfully, but I could not run it.
Conditions are everywhere, and RC would eat them up, but it's the elite, and replaces other strong choices (WoH, HBurst, ZB).
IMO the main problem would be self preservation but I imagine w/ Bonettis and patient + other self heals it wouldn't be a problem.
I'm half-tempted to try it but it might piss off my teams ^^

I gave it a go earlier, with marginal success. You're right, the only real problem was surviving. I should really be auto-attacking on defensive set until Bonetti's charges before swapping to 4040 prot.
The bar, as far as I can remember, was:
Prot 12+1+1; heal 6; Divine 10+1; Tactics 4.
1.Restore Conditions
2.Gift of Health
3.Reversal of Fortune
4.Signet of Devotion
5.Deny Hexes
6.Contemplation of Purity
7.Guardian
8.Bonetti's
Thoughts on improving this bar?

Last week I started to do RA, and I like it when I have a balanced team. The thing is, 9 times out of 10 that's not the case. Most of the time my team has no healer. I started to monk myself, and it works, but only if I don't have a nitwitted team.
How is it with you all? Do you also have this problem?
