Back in the day monks would run pdrain to interrupt mesmer diversions, and get the tasty e-management factor.

But: Will dshot work on ZB monk? I'd rather play ZB than woh.
However, my recent monk build contains a lyssa's haste and a pious restoration. At 8 wind prayers it rly owns (2 hex remove from pious)

Dshot can work on any character that can spare 5 energy and any player that can weapon swap/interrupt. It makes more sense on a WoH though, you have two stupidly strong heals that allow you go in relax mode and use dshot more effectively.

haha, i know they're not common, i just like off-the-wall skills on my bar to make RA a bit more fun. it's certainly not meta, and doesn't deserve to be, but i like interrupting on a monk (esp. Leech Sig, lol.) also, MoR + PDrain boonprots are a refreshing change from wohbot these days imho.

here's one i love fooling around with:
OQSkcUl8JimEQmGYlg9WFmKm7mAA
It's a somewhat high-maintenance, quirky, and powerful support build i like running as a para in RA. it can spread DW and cover it with minor degen, while also helping out your monk really well, and keeping you free of annoying conditions.
Another fun build i've been running is a standard ED turret with GFtE and Keen Arrow for some big numbers on demand. i miss MTouch and Nat Stride, but the build's certainly fun to mess around with.

A/R
14 Critical
12 Marksmanship
(elite)
Way of the Master
Critical Defenses
Disrupting Accuracy
Savage Shot or Keen Arrow
D-Shot
utility (Dash, Antidoe Signet, Critical Eye)
Rez
It's a silly variation of a build that was saw some light when WotM was first introduced, but it's still good shutdown, strong defensively, and very nice DPS for a bow build. The elite you choose depends on how you wanna play. Basic usage is simple though. Pick caster most likely to shut down your team. Interrupt the living hell out of said caster. TAB constantly for key skills to interrupt. Take sreenshots of people cussing you in local chat. The biggest counter you will face is teams with more than 1 anti-melee hexer, because you can keep a single Mes or Necro out of the match entirely.
Magebane and Burning Arrow are the only elites I ever use with this. It's a tossup as to which is better, really.
Magebane is SCHWEET for putting the hurt on fortress monks, nothing like zapping WoH through all their 500 stances. If you take MB, definitely drop Savage for Keen though. It hurts squishies. Bad.
The improved Burning Arrow is sick with such a high crit chance, and perma burning at 12 Marksmanship makes it even better.

You've probably seen some variation of this. Keeps blind on melee, and if your spirits stay alive, decent healing, condition removal. One alternative is to drop Life, and take Bloodsong. Drop Spawning down a few notches, and raise Channeling. The reason would be that Bloodsong lasts a lot longer than Life does, having two spirits up, removes two conditions
Rit/Mo
12+1+1 Restoration
12+1 Spawning
1. Spirit Light
2. Mend Body and Soul
3. Weapon of Shadow
4. Blind was Mingson
5. Life
6. Preservation
7. Holy Veil
8. Resurrection Signet

A different sin hammer build now that bb sin is kinda iffy with the FGJ nerf:
Assassin/Warrior
Critical Strikes: 13 (12+1)
Dagger Mastery: 14 (12+2)
- Hammer Bash
- Falling Lotus Strike
- Twisting Fangs
- Moebius Strike [E]
- Death Blossom
- Flurry
- Dash
- Resurrection Signet
This is actually pretty crazy pressure. Suppose it's not much different than most Moebius builds though

Thx, didn't notice this comment. But it kinda annoys me that not two hours after I posted this build someone posted the exact same build on pvx and now every swinging dick in the game is running it, so of course it's gona be nerfed. Not a high quality play build but it just goes to show the copy past effect of that awful site.

Lies! I posted that build all the way back on page 69:
http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showp...postcount=1377
Anyway, it's not that stupid. You still have frenzy and bull's on your bar, and prot strike requires a little micro too. Wounding strike was way dumber.
What makes me laugh is that everyone and their mom is running this in gvg now. I ARE GW PROPHET!

Warrior problems
Hey i am working on my gladiator title in RA and i normally run Warriors of any kind and have tried just about every build (shock axe, knock down, W/N spike etc..) i play proficiently and usually get two kills a game and my team still manages to loose(no rez ftl), is it just me or has the warrior gone the way of the shitter? Any comments from serious players are welcome for suggestions for playing a warrior in RA?

I've been playing a scythe version of the build myself (though, I also tried the axe version right after warrior's endurance got buffed, and it worked pretty well).
14 str, 12 scythe
pious assault, power attack, prot strike, rush, frenzy, war's endurance, bull's strike, ressig.
Just spam power attack and prot strike, and then use pious + prot on a low target to finish him. The attack speed is slower, but you also have prot strike, so you can still get away with it decently enough. If you can actually manage to farm 2 or 3 people with your scythe, it's pretty amazing. The only other downsides are no shield and a dw that isn't nearly as easy to spam (12s recharge...), not to mention that it strips enchants off yourself. But I really like seeing triple digit numbers a bit more than I should, so I play it anyway.
I landed bull's strike on two people just the other day, and I think the credits started rolling immediately afterward. (The only thing left to do now is do it on an earth shaker warrior by swapping to my scythe JUST for the bull's strike, then pull my hammer out and quarterknock both targets.)

boa works pretty well at 15 spec, you have it up 10/12 seconds and you don't need a cancel which opens a slot
