Advantages...
1. Low damage
2. Assassins are easily bypassed if you preprot with SoA and RoF
3. SB can be switched out with prot spirit, but I prefer SB for a good heal against hammer wars and dervs
Disadvantages...
1. If you don't have any melee on the opposing team, your energy will go down....FAST
2. You can't block attacks
3. KDers might get you, depended on what happens, as you have no way to prevent KD
Notes...
Always make sure your 3 team mates are bonded, and Balthazar's Spirit on yourself is a MUST, otherwise, you have no energy coming in. Dismiss Condition can be switched out for CoP if needed.

Those disadvantages are pretty huge in the 4v4 game, even in RA. Also, enchantment kill is alot stronger than it was a year ago, so bonder is not the best monk build you can bring in RA anymore, especially when R/D, Shatter sin, and Necro and mesmer variants are very popular.

If you have to put points into an unneeded attribute, or even worse choose a secondary to heal, that detracts from your damage output and makes you a useless nothing. Plague touch and antidote sig are in my builds to counter SoM gayness, but plague touch can also be a tactical aid to warriors spiking if you can pass conditions onto your target.

I'd leave a team if the monk was running that.
Also, lol @ EC and PT being tough on energy.

You might want to add any and every enchant removal on your list.

dude, deep wound is right up there with an ias in the list of things melee needs. Just view it as 100 free damage!
your build is not perfected, and If you don't want us to suggest things DON'T POST HERE.
BTW, I even bring deep wound on casters lol [Augury of Death] FTW

Let's not forget that deep wound reduces healing by 20% too. I agree completely that any melee build without a deep wound spike fails. Additionally, unless it's a hammer with a second kd, another condition to cover the deep wound is preferable.

I've tried some W/P spam builds too:
[build=Stunning Warrior;OQkiExl8AkVwDZDLfVIHvFAA]
[build=Coward Spear;OQkiExl8AkVwDZDLftsFvFAA]
Alternatively replace [Merciless Spear] with [Wild Throw] to punch through sway's and punish melandru's resilience monks.
W/P isn't bad but it's pretty boring spam play.
Oh and one more hammer build while i'm on a posting spree
[build=Quick Hammer Spike;OQYTgmIP5JvdWAL/E+65wwKAAA]
Forceful Blow is obviously use at your own risk, but it can work decently in RA where matches are often cheap and quick. Last slot is optional:
[Enraging Charge] or [Bull's Strike] or [Lion's Comfort]

[build prof=Monk/Elementalist][Zealous Benediction][Divine Spirit][Reversal of Fortune][Spirit Bond][Dismiss][Deny Hexes][Glyph of lesser Energy][Guardian][/build]
Advantages:
- unbeatable E-management
- big prot (Spirit Bond)
- a "big" hex remove (removes 2 - that's enough most of the time)
Disadvantages:
- You haven't got holy veil on your bar (cannot preveil against migrain, frustration, diversion or backfire)
- cannot bond your team before the match starts(!)
I only screw the flawless if there is a good mesmer in the opponent team (powerblock, migrain-heavy-interrupt) or if the other team is able to kdchain me. For the first point I blame the rangers in my team (if there are some), they should interrupt the mesmers diversion or migrain. If I get kdchained I made a mistake, because I haven't used guardian fast enough.
Nevertheless it works very well for me. Nearly all matches end in a flawless victory.

With all of the spear builds going around, I might as well post my favorite one =D.
[build prof=R/P name="Spearchucker" spear=12 beast=10+1+1 exp=8+1 desc="Weapon #1: Zealous Spear{br}Weapon #2: Furious Spear"][Barbed Spear][Blazing Spear][Merciless Spear][Poisonous Bite][Rampage as One][Comfort Animal][Charm Animal][Resurrection Signet][/build]
It's one of my fastest killilng builds so far (despite having no healing at all) and I love using it so much. I even managed to take on 2 sins and a rit by myself once XD. Then again, both sins messed up their spikes and the rit was a spirit spammer... Oh well, it was still fun with my team calling me godly for the moment XD.

Hi guys, im using the following build:
[build=WoH Arena Monk;OwET04nCRSjQgACMv6moBsmYtAA]
I want to ask you guys how to deal with dazed. It always results in a instant death here when there are more than 1 physicals attacking me. I can get rid of dazed when only 1, used shield bash + mending touch. But when more than 1, im really f*cked.
EDIT: Just got some 2x-20% dazed runes

Dazed runes don't stack, fyi.
To counter it I would just spam Patient Spirit and kite until it wears off. If you can get a Shield/Focus with reduced dazed duration to add to the rune you can usually get by on that.
Build looks good in general, though i'm not a huge fan of Draw/MTouch combo. I'd rather take MTouch and Mend Condi just to get the extra heal out of it.

If I were you, I drop Spotless and use Dstance. Kite a bit, use Dstance and mendtouch with 40/40 set.

I've been playing this necro for a while and it's really fun
[build prof=N/R curse=12+1+1 soulreaping=12+1][foul feast][plague signet][parasitic bond][faintheartedness][insidious parasite][rip enchantment][distracting shot][resurrection signet][/build]
40/40 curse and soulreaping set
recurve bow
def set (spear + shield)
sometimes I switch [rip enchantment] for [rend enchantment]
why dshot ? because the 20sec disable is win

Considering the amount of hex shutdown for Warriors in RA, I'd much rather take Spotless. The duration of DStance makes it a bit mediocre, particularly the spec it requires, and frankly its not going to help if your Warriors can't kill anything.

I run an almost the same build, but 11/10/9 and 4 tactics. I swap Shield Bash for Disciplined stance because SA sins arent too common, and WoH outheals them anyway. Also, ive never really understood the point of draw, it means a total of 10e everytime you remove a cond. Ive found Mend Touch with Mend Condition to be far superior.
Except for that, its defeinitely a strong build. If im dazed i just knock on Disciplined Stance and switch to a 40/40 set, a lot of the time (40%) youll manage to get WoH/Patient/Mend with a quick cast.
Anyway, my 2 pennies.

Without draw how do you deal with deep wounds then?
A lot of deepwounds are covered and it's so annoying having a deep wound on a target because you heal less..
And what about blindbots? Me/N or Ele with lightning orb(cracked)

Both mend cond and draw cond have their pros as well as cons - if a deep wound is always covered then id try to keep guardian up on the target all the time and try to remove both of the conds if energy is fine, otherwise only guardian the target and heal up with woh.
if you face a me/n with mend cond you're screwed up already if your team has several phyisicals and an insufficient cond removal (no ff, for example, or not mend touch ranger who isn't a complete failure). Even draw cond doesn't guarantee a win vs a me/n, but the chances are significantly higher as the case with mend cond is.
