I've been trying to come up with "Ok" RA build that uses Signet of Illusions. But i just fail badly, i think.

[build prof=Me/Mo illusion=12+1+2 fast=12+1 healing=15 domi=15 inspira=15][Signet of Illusions][Arcane Thievery][Arcane Larceny][Auspicious Incantation][Optional][Optional][Illusion of Weakness][Resurrection Chant][/build]

Now.. IoW aint that good as self defense as there is enchant ripping from time to time, but with SoI you can disable 2 spells for 35 secs from target(s) and then use the spells against them, sure it's not 100% success as they can steal the same spell and you can get a worthless spell.

I don't have tryed it yet, as i can't come up with the last 2 spells, maybe interrupts? or take some points from fast casting for Signet of Humility?

But if you're going to bring SoI + a bunch of Dom skills, you might as well just spec in Dom and bring a good elite.

Dervs usually carry enchants, sins get some hexes and spells, and maybe you'll meet some Mending wammos!

i prefer me/n SoI hexer if anything. some death magic, domination, degen from curses or anything and it's good to go. don't quite got the time to post a build now, but i'll do that later. :P

made it to TA with a mending wammo on my team

I loved SoI Me/N before P-leak got nerfed!

Might still be good with P-spike.

fill in the blanks with:
1. Backfire
2. Empathy/Insidious Paradise

that way you got good(in RA standards) anti caster and anti melee and you never know which skills you manage to steal...

Like touchers without the block stance, except that you do big (armor ignoring, unprottable) domage and you never run out of e. Just cycle dp, angorodon's and vamp spirit until they die.

Go with blessed insignia and a shield for 78 AL, so you should be reasonably sturdy, esp considering all the life steals you have coming your way.

You should try that with IAS (think flurry) and zealous daggers, it's murder really.

Just depends; sometimes I drop Ceye for flail or flurry or for ass remedy. When it comes down to it, ias doesn't really score kills as opposed to the other skills

That's almost the same build I use, but I put Dark Escape instead of Death's Retreat cause it saves me when i get KD chained.

They don't run it in TA because rangers own eles..
And in RA most people are from pve and only want DOMMAGE!! so they don't take water ele..
