tried out the mes; not a fan. recharges, not enough targets that fit it perfectly (see: tanking faggots), general idiots that don't carry any enchants..it was too conditional for so many teams, then you faced one and RAPED, then useless again..
loving the assassin still, the utility it has is nice, but i'm such a deepwound addict..>.> i think i'll just kick shadow ref because shadow walk dash always got me out of the trouble so i didn't have to selfheal, and if i had to it didn't save me anyways. ;o

Heres sin i like to run no moebius no black offhands no shadow prison.
Frenzy/Flurry/Disrupting Dagger
"Your All Alone!"
Jagged Strike
Wild Strike
Death Blossom
Impale
Dash
Resurrection Signet
12+2+1 Dagger Mastery
12+1/9+1 Critical Strikes
3+1/9+1 Deadly Arts
Fast combo just throw a few down on diff targets without impale then look for low and throw on the deep wound. D dagger is good for triggering deep wound if u run it.

All in all with right items - unbuffed 96AL and 665 HP... average damage with condition and energy denial spam, and a nice party buff which gives you energy with leadership. Comes with self-recovery from conditions and a hard rez.

why? what's the point in not running a war?:/

Leadership energy returns from WY spam (2 energy each time WY used is not bad at all in a long run) and 30 base energy makes it much more resistant to energy denial, than it's 20 energy warrior counterpart without energy gain skill... Also it has a 0 energy >hard< rez and 0 energy condition removal with faster cooldown than mending touch... Also people do not choose paragon as a primary target for conditions and hexes, unlike warrior...
Cons - no 13 in tactics (this I miss) and Sword/Axe (couldn't care less for one point)
Besides, main reason - Female Black Primeval Paragon > Warrior in pure sexiness
And I just can't stand warriors and want to do some interesting transformations to my beloved paragon...

So basically, no reason? The only viable reason would be sig of return, but tbh, hard resses aren't that important in RA, because if you have to use that multiple times you're already screwed. And remedy sig is fine to use on warriors. So basically, you're gimping yourself to a worse build for the reason of armor.

forgot to write about this in the build atricle... basicly you have to use siphon speed first and hit them a few times to make sure they arnt going to do any of those things purge sig- not really cuonterable but then again 10 energy per hex/condition is so bad most monks wont run it anyway\

Purge Signet is one of the best skills ever, any good monk will run it if they have space. lol.

usually preveil should be taken off once u see what elite the assa is using (though i dont do that each and every time, tbh...and usually i've regretted that few times when i didnt do it)
and yeah, as moko said, purge = <3.

Again... only thing I lose from original build is 13 tactics. I gain usable Signet of Return and better energy management. It is a fine tradeoff, in my book.
Reusable ressurection spell is quite convinient in RA and won quite a bit of fights for me which led to glad points.
One fun fight I remember in particular is when I was left alone vs 2 spirit spammer ritualists - I just ran around and ressed all of my team, they could do nothing about it and lost.
Another example is not so rare standoff fights where two equal teams fight and one runs out of res sigs, while another still has ressurection option on a teammate which is extremely hard to kill.

You don't really have better emanagement because on warrior you'd get a 7 energy steady stance. Basically, it's energy from watch yourself (which also reduces fear me spam) vs more energy from steady stance, a tradeoff that I would say goes toward the warrior, since energy really isn't tight either way.
You're also getting less damage (12 vs 13-15 mastery), a weaker heal sig, a weaker watch yourself, and no strength (3 AP ON SKILLS YAY!) for a hard res that might win you the game in very rare circumstances but is inferior most of the time to res sig.
I'd have to say that I would go with warrior.
O, and either way, sig of return at 4 leadership in 4v4 absolutely sucks. You're ressing people at a max of 24% health and 6% energy, and that's in optimal circumstances. You could literally just run that on the warrior and get almost the same results.

sig of disenchant on a shadow form assa must be nice :P
btw, while in shadow form, the assas still get affected by wrath if attacking, right?

meh tried out a Resilience monk, not my favorite elite for RA.
Pretty much 1 out of 3 W/* or D/W carries wild blow.
been using this so far, its okay:
15 dagger, 11 critical, 9 shadow.
[skill]Shadowy Burden[/skill][skill]Beguiling Haze[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Blades of Steel[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
35 energy
options for the last slot are... wild blow, feigned neutrality, hex breaker, rending touch, mending touch, etc..

12+1+1 Scythe
10 Fire
9 Mystic
[skill]Banishing Strike[/skill][skill]Flame Djinn's Haste[/skill][skill]Wounding Strike[/skill][skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill][skill]Heart of Fury[/skill][skill]Conjure Flame[/skill]Rez
lolol farmed glads in ra with that. pwn. fiery scythe, 20% enchants, 15% while enchanted.
if you happen to have a bored monk that can supply you with enchants or a bonder you can keep one of your enchants down or have all 3 up easily nonstop.
energy can be annoying but banishing strike > zealous renewal for RA.
