alright, first off all, i'm sorry for messing up the other thread about RA builds, we tried to move them exisisting posts into this one but the board didn't allow proper moving so the posts had to be deleted.
to those that posted in there and would like to re-post their builds, leave me a pm and i'll give you the exact copy of your old post so you can just copy-paste and repost without any trouble.
sorry again, and happy posting! feel free to include screenshots of your impressive win counters you got with it as long as names are edited out. :P

Yay! An RA thread! First post!
Now I can post my uber RA monk build that's inferior to the mo/w version with ps+fd:
gift of health
reversal of fortune
zealous benediction
signet of devotion
dismiss condition
shield of absorption
holy veil (or deny hexes)
hex breaker
atts:
pro=12+1+1
div=10+1
hea=8+1
dom=2
runes:
all +health
weapon set:
1- 40/20 +1 20% heal
2- +5 20% ench / +8 armor -5 20% shield (easily switched depending on enemies)
3- +5 20% ench / 20% +30 prot offhand
4- 15/-1, 15/-1 high energy set
Obviously having a +5 +30 would be nice too for emergency health, but it's RA so who cares?

Just throwing in something obvious.
Burning Arrow
Apply Poison
Savage Shot
Dshot
Natural stride
Mending touch
Troll Unguent
Res Sig
14 marks
10 bow
10 wilderness
rest prot
15>50 poisonous recurve of fortitude
+5e Poisonous recurve of fortitude
+5e Poisonous longbow of fortitude
Shield/spear +30 +30 set.
Kill things. Degen things. Interrupt things. Survive since you're practically invincible. Remove conditions off you and teammates who fail at surviving. Solo the entire enemy team after your team dies by dshotting self-heals. Rage at noobs.
NOTE: Res Sig can be replaced with pin down if you decide that 3 sec of your time + skill slot is worth more than most RA players.

Been playing RA quite a bit lately. The most dangerous classes imo are Warrior and Ranger -- played by a good player at least. However there are a lot of players "farming" points with easier, though somewhat overpowered builds. Here's one:
N/E
Curses - 12+1+(1-3)
SR - 6+1
Blood - 11+1
Equipment:
- 20% recharge/+5>50 curses wand, 20% recharge +30 focus
- high/low sets, armor set (if you're into all that)
[skill]corrupt enchantment[/skill][skill]faintheartedness[/skill][skill]price of failure[/skill][skill]reckless haste[/skill][skill]life siphon[/skill][skill]parasitic bond[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Strengths:
- Ability to shutdown melee is a life saver in RA, especially for weaker monks.
- Corrupt enchant does a great job at harrassing mo/w frenzy/ps monks, as well as stripping ele attunes (esp. at 40% recharge)
- Decent degen
Weaknesses:
- Harder on energy than the Reaper's variant, if the match turns into a long one anyway.
- Elite hex removal. Rare in RA, but is a counter nonetheless.
Notes: Gotten a few glad points with this, but I tend to avoid the build as it is overpowered in 4v4. A monk with only veil will be helpless protecting his melee against this, and pre-veiling only gives a little headstart. Purge sig helps a little, but not a lot given its slow recharge. Also, most people run this with Reaper's and Insidious instead of Corrupt and Siphon. I prefer this version because of the ability to spam strips, and Insidious with Reckless is somewhat redundant. To each their own, however.

Hurray! What a fun thread. I like this necro a lot for RA:
12+1+1 Curses
11 Restoration
6+1 Soul Reaping
[skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill][skill]Corrupt Enchantment[/skill][skill]Faintheartedness[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill][skill]Wielder's Boon[/skill][skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]
Insidious Parasite is simply necessary for Assassins. Reckless Haste casts too slow.
I like most of my RA characters to have strong self-survivability. This guy definitely has that and can extend healing/protection onto others too. The hard rez is very valuable as well.
ANY caster I make has a 15>50 wand. The value of wand damage should not be ignored.

No ele builds yet? Ah, well.
Modified B-surger, of sorts... With some Rt stuff.
Air Magic 12 + 1 + 1
Energy Storage 6 + 1
Restoration Magic 11 (+5 regen breakpoint)
[skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]blinding surge[/skill][skill]enervating charge[/skill][skill]lightning orb[/skill][skill]resilient weapon[/skill][skill]wielder's boon[/skill][skill]air attunement[/skill]
... and [skill]resurrection signet[/skill] or [skill]flesh of My flesh[/skill]
Lightning Orb is really your skill of choice, I sometimes run Bolt there, or Strike... or even Gale, if you feel the people in RA need it.
Attune up, blind everything in sight, watch for Mending Touches, and... well... generally annoy the hell outta wammos.
Equipment? I use full Survivor's, with 20/20 wand and offhand (probably not ideal weapon choices... I just like wtfpwnin' in 15k geo )

No self-heal or condy removal in RA ftl? Drop bull's for heal sig and drop some strength for tactics.

Succor Wammo:
12 + 1+ 1 Swordsmanship
9 + 1 Tactics
9 +1 Strength
10% Furious Sword (15 always, -5 energy), Tactics Shield with 20% blind mod, one 20% reduced blind rune. Full Survivor insignias... ~ 630 health and 15 energy.
Succor
Battle Rage
Sever
Gash
Standing Slash or Galrath / Silverwing
Purge Signet
Heal Sig
Rez
Can also sub axe skills for sword, just be sure to bring Dismember and Executioner's at the very least. I don't recommend hammer because of lack of IAS.
This is a zero energy build I run and have won many matches with it. Cast Succor on your 2 most important teammates (usually Monk and off-caster) and then charge up Battle Rage for nonstop pressure. Believe me, your monk will greatly appreciate 5 energy pips and +1 regen. Purge Sig can save someone's bacon and Heal Sig can keep you alive when the monk is otherwise occupied. With the Furious Mod, Rage is usually fast to recharge when you have to end it by using a signet.

a monk/ele build i use in ra that i like;
10 earth magic
11+1+1 protection prayers
10+1 divine favor
zealous benediction [elite] (protection prayers)
reversal of fortune (protection prayers)
shield of abosortion (protection prayers)
dismisss condition (protection prayers)
holy veil (no attribute)
ward against melee (earth prayers)
kinetic armor (earth magic)
glyph of lesser energy (energy storage)
for armor i personnally use a pvp holy staff with a +5 energy staff head, a 20/20 inscription, and a +20% enchant mod. the main reason i use this instead of a wand is because you really need the enchant bonus and a wand won't give you that. you will also obviously want energy sets also. i also personally use blessed mods on all my armor because you should always be enchanted, although with this build if you already have +60 you could go radiant or vitate insignias if you feel you need more energy/health.
kinetic armor should always be up with this build, so you have the extra armor. you will want to make sure you cast it before you start fighting so there is no chance of it getting interuptted. ward against melee, besides the obvious use against warriors thumpers etc, it is esspically good against assassins. if you can block just one attack then you stop their entire chain. all of the other skills are pretty standard monking skills.
i think i created this build myself i haven't seen anyone else play it, but i could be wrong. this build works well in ra only though, any other catagory of pvp/pve is pretty ineffective.

Imo it's not absolutely necessary. I've had plenty of successful RA builds that didn't include either. Wasn't RaO Thumper one of the best way to get glad points in RA? Going pure pressure means that if you get a monk (or some kind of healer), you're really deadly. And if you don't get a monk or some kind of healer, your chances of getting glad points are pretty slim anyway. If you don't have a self-heal or condi removal, just hang back a bit when fight starts. Usually in RA people pick a target in range and kinda stick to it till it's over.
Here's a fun one that doesn't include either:
E/Me Clumsy Mind Blaster
12+2+1 Fire Magic
10 Illusion
8+1 Energy Storage
[skill]Mind Blast[/skill][skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill][skill]Fireball[/skill][skill]Imaginary Burden[/skill][skill]Clumsiness[/skill][skill]Flame Djinn's Haste[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Equipment sets :
+5E > 50 illusion wand and illusion focus for fast cast/recharge on illusion spells.
+5E Fiery spear/shield
+30/-2E set for Mind Blast if you're low energy.
Throw Imaginary Burden on a warrior or another melee (. Pick another attacker, throw Mark of Rodgort's on his back, and do Clumsi-Mind Blast-Fireball-Clumsi-Mind Blast-etc. till he dies in frustration.
If you're focused too much, turn on FDH and ruuuun.

^very interesting usage of clumsiness. would've never thought about using it on an ele with mindblast to supply energy.

very fun build to run. can run guardian/ps/sb/shielding hands for soa. :>

LOL, I've run that with SB/Guardian/Holy Veil instead of SoA, Contemplation, Deny.
I love that Monks finally have a decent reason to go /R, even if it's only for RA.

Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Light
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Bonneti's Defense
Rez Sig (optional)
Flesh of My Flesh (optional)
Att:
12+1+3 Resto
rest into tactics
Equipment:
Sword +5e and energy focus
Simple concept, obvious weakness, yet I get glad pts? ripostes when you can, only attack melee that are on your back, stay with your spirit. Draw Spirit can be useful instead of one of the rezzes.
D/A
Golden Phoenix Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Blades of Steel
Watchful Intervention
Heart of Fury (optional)
Avatar of ------
Rez Sig
Att:
12+1+3 Mysticism
12 Dagger Mastery
Equipment: Daggers +5energy 20% enchant
Any avatar except Lyssa works fine (lyssa doesn't have much use and Melandru isn't worth the cost imo). I usually run with Dwayna or Grenth. Watchful is cool for healing the beat down monk as well as yourself, though you need to remember to have at least one enchant on for golden phoenix strike.
Two builds, got me glad pts, simplicity is bliss---
