If you don't allow people to come in here and start flaming others in an otherwise productive thread, then there's usually not an issue.

Back on discussion, I'd like to see HA turned into an RA format as previously discussed with fame rewards and a chest at the end of 25 consecutive wins. That would also stop people's whining about the Sigil shortage because you'd have them start getting introduced back into the market/trader.

Yeah, but again, i think it's better to have " realistic " solutions. Implementing back TA, allowing 7 henchs parties would take no time because the code is already there, and furthermore wouldn't hurt anyone.
Your idea seems good, but it needs some work( and i remind you we're still waiting a new HoH map for 3 years),so it has even less chances to happen..
Again right now, i saw players syncing halls, but after i managed to find a few players, i saw a guild team( 7 members from guild) already in, and they had no matchs after the hall win. So, i wasted my time since no opponent in uw , they wasted their time( maybe not with hall chest, but that's only 2 matchs, with time involved to get guildies,etc...)

yes, a new sync, but there are similar factors, that suggest it's Ganker again, but with one of his other accounts, incidently Ganker was banned for match manipulation, so i assume i can mention that character, if not i apologise and will remove it, or no doubt a mod will remove it
[akey] kicked them out, but obviously this new sync, if it is the same brain behind it, will organise three ways to combat those attempts, plus the people who synced with Ganker were not banned, so we shall see

People were actually banned for match manipulation for once? And are you saying there's a new sync technique people are using?

people are banned, if there's enough evidence and the contact with anet/ncsoft is not just typing /report
watching syncers now, french guild, they managed last night to sync CB, it didn't occur to me at first, i just thought it was some guy spamming like crazy everything he was doing, but seeing them sync HA it makes sense
anyway, yes, bans happen, someone syncs, eventually they will be caught
i really despise cheats

Chances of getting any of these ideas implemented, probably 15%. Hearing that they banned some of these cheats though is somewhat rewarding though I doubt that would have any bearing on how active and open they are to updates on the game.

I want to go in HA even if I'm only with 2 other humans.
I also want champ points for any ranking so that anyone can do his title (even if it becomes not as famous as before).
Allowing all content for all players, might be good isn't it ?

GvG doesn't need updating atm. Just Heroe's Ascent.
It boils down to two things.
1) We need to make HA more populated/open to newer players or unexperienced PvP'ers which are the majority of players left in the game. Most of those who would be trying out this new format or populating it would be what's left in the game for a playerbase..and that's not HA vets. It's simply those who love playing PvE. I understand there are some older veteran HA'ers who will take advantage of this but we need to cater to the majority.
2) We need to make the format viable to what is needed in today's playerbase. Reward fame for wins. Either allow henchman on teams in a 6 or 8 player sized team or make the format like RA with random teams...25 consecutive win rewards items equivalent to an HoH chest drop, ie: sigils, z-keys, gold weapons, etc. Slim down the amount of maps to 4-6'ish with coinciding goals/objectives. For instance, a 4v4 holding map would be kind of dumb when in a 4v4 type format, you're generally running one healer and thus not capable of keeping a ghostly plus three teammates up. Make them kill maps or something else interesting.
My two cents.

I completely agree and I've highlighted the most key point. The playerbase has dwindled. The PvP player is now left with a choice of RA or GvG. There is nothing in between due to the failure of Codex and ever dwindling level of activity in HA since the release of GW2.
For those PvP players that don't have a guild with enough active players dedicated to wanting to GvG, there should be some other option than RA. Two friends who want to play PvP together could do HA or TA by filling out their team with henchmen or just click Enter Battle and have the rest of their team filled out randomly by other sub-teams also clicking Enter Battle.

Good stuff. I just went into the Guild Wars wiki and submitted these suggestions although I don't think I did it correctly. If we get enough people to submit suggestions maybe we'll see a change.
I encourage everyone to go over there and do the same, citing this page as well. The more, the better chance we see a change.

Exactly. The number of players is really problematic and doesn't incite you to form parties yourself.. Recently, i've been forming parties with players from RA and gtob, but the fact is :
- either we will face syncers ( 10% chances)
- either we will face the usual guild team who formed as well to beat syncers( 10% chances)
- either we won't face anyone because syncers were smarter ( 80% chances)
In the 1st case, it will be a free win for us, in the second case it will generally be an epic lose for us, and in the 3rd case.. well there's no match.. Whatever it is, it won't be a fun match or anything... Scrimmages with a friend would be better, but we can't even use heroes in scrimmage...

Yep, syncers getting smarter and smarter. They will sometimes keep friends and guildies on the outside scanning districts for people like us who are trying to get in and gank them. That way they can hold off on inputting a team into Zaishen so they don't face us in UW.

Well, it seems that syncers were banned or did stop. Haven't seen any match on halls for a week, and the same for GvG, where we usually had those same guilds playing 24/7. There are a few GvG matchs, but all are played.
Tried to play a GvG and we had no opponent for an hour, not even those hunter's isle leavers. Seems to be a good point, however i'm wondering if there will be any form of activity in HA or CA now...

some syncers were, others i suspect are keeping their heads down, some hUSh members were syncing HA last weekend, using accounts that Ganker was using, however they stopped after a few wins. if they continue, no doubt some hUSh members will get banned too
there are more than enough HAers still playing, however getting them all to play HA will be difficult, games players have inertia and little patience, as i'm sure you know

Have also noticed the decline of syncing. It's not about getting the HA'ers to play again, it's about getting the existing population of players who never did HA before to get into it. That is the population that will sustain such a game style as this.
