Default PvP Access kit

Well, since all I got out of searches was a bunch of old threads saying this is going to come out, I was just wondering if anyone got this and can answer some questions about it.

It claims: Gain instant access to the Player versus Player portion of Guild Wars with the new PvP Access Kit. This package contains everything you need to jump right into the competitive world of Guild Wars PvP! No other Guild Wars purchase necessary.

Create and play PvP-Only characters from any of ten Guild Wars professions across all three campaigns (Warning: Access to Roleplaying characters requires purchase of a Guild Wars campaign.)

The PvP Access Kit also includes 60 free unlocks (20 elite skills, 20 normal skills and 20 items) to help you power up your game instantly. Mix and match with Skill and Item Unlock Packs to further enhance your PvP characters.

Well, so here are the questions:

1) Do I get access to all 4 chapters' worth of skills to unlock with faction that I earn? I'm guessing yes, since it otherwise wouldn't make sense with a new account.
Quote:
1. Yes. you can get skills from all 3 chapters as well as GW:EN
2) Will I be able to unlock all the skins through RP?
3) Do I get heroes/will I be able to unlock heroes?
Quote:
3. Yes. You start with 3 heroes and can unlock the others
4) How many slots will I get if I only get this and make a PvP only account, or do I have to attach it to an existing account (and how many slots will I get then?)
Quote:
4. It started me with 4 character slots.
Quote:
Nope, no extra character slots.
Thanks for the answers guys

Edited the responses for other people to read.

I also want to know if you get to choose your 60 free unlocks (e.g. it's like having a huge store-up of Balthazar faction), or if they are all predetermined skills/items, and if the latter (which seems more likely), what they are.

I'm fairly certain that you get to choose your own unlocks.

The PvP editions have been out for ages through the online store, I have bought some for the skill unlocks. There a waste of money overall. Better to get the normal game and unlock things.

On a somewhat related note...if you buy the NF PvP skill pack (and don't own the NF campaign already), will you have access to play with Paras and Dervs? Or do you just get the skill unlocks and thats it?

Nope, and what's worse if you buy say the Factions PvP Edition, and the Nightfall regular edition, you won't be able to use any Factions skills on you PvE chars even though you bought the PvP unlock or them all! That sux.

Note: I do NOT care about PvP unlock packs that are targeted towards players who have trouble unlocking skills with balth faction. If you don't know the answer to the PvP access kit, please don't post as it just clutters this thread with junk.

1. Yes
2. Can't answer as I already had the 3 campaigns, I'd imagine the answer is yes though.
3. Yes, you unlock them.

More like my second account has Two campaigns, and I would rather spend 5 dollars to get Nightfall stuff as compared to 40 or 20 dollars.

In a way this kind of makes me mad. I've spent a lot of money on GW to get new skills to be able to stay in pvp.

Would like to know if this is a standalone or if you have to attach it to an account.

2. I haven't gotten any RP for my new account, but I'm fairly certain this is another yes.

And I was really happy they announced this. Been wanting to get a second account for pugging, smurfing, or whatever for quite some time now. Was originally going to buy proph for 10 bucks at Best Buy (it's supposed to go on sale after thanksgiving), and then maybe add some pvp unlock packs, but this seemed like a better deal. Now I just need to transfer some of the flames of balthazar to this account and should be able to unlock enough to play all the popular builds for pvp.

Just wondering if you (or anyone else who added it to an existing account) got any slots out of adding the PvP access kit.

Also, Pluto, how did you get the kit without having an account? Because I'm debating whether to add the kit to my second account or to just get a new account.

If the answer's yes to all of these, it seems like a pretty good deal compared to spending $150 or whatever on all the campaigns.

Just got one for a cheap alt account.
1) Yes.
2) Can't answer, no RP.
3) Dunkoro, Koss and Jin are given to you, you can balth unlock others.
4) You can make a new account, it gives you 4 PvP only slots.

That's awesome. These things really are like super-cheap alts.

Since it gives 4 slots for a new Account I might buy it just so I don't have to constantly reroll my characters because I only have 1 slot on my main account. That alone is worth $20 to me.

When I bought it at the NCSoft Store, they asked me if I wanted to add it to my existing account or if I wanted to create a new one. I just told them to to create a new account, and it added it under my NC soft account. So now, listed under guild wars, I have my main account tied with my email for its name and a second one, <name>@ncsoft.
