What were you hoping to see buffed...
...that never got it?
Personally, I have a small handful I would have loved to see buffed, that are still pretty useless.
[Locust's Fury]
[Avatar of Balthazar]
[Primal Rage]
[Ravenous Gaze]
[Peace and Harmony]

Pve dervishes got the short end of the stick imo; only three "buffs", one of which is actually a nerf no matter how you look at it, one which is a sub-par ias and speed buff, especially considering the non-elite versions of both already available to dervishes, and one of which is for niche builds.
In other words, I was hoping for some kind of worthwhile buffs that would actually make pve dervishes a competitive class for elite areas; unfortunately, didn't happen.

The three useless-to-normal-human-beings mind skills. You know what I'm talking about, the deadly-powerful ones when equiped on a monster but hurt you more often than not when you yourself equip them.

[second wind], anyone?
More than anything, I'd really like Spawning Power, Communing and spirits in general to get looked at. Reverting spirit health and burning immunity in PvE would be a start. Most of my fellow Ritualists seem to be in agreement.

[Locust's Fury]
[Seeping Wound]
[Second Wind]
[Peace and Harmony]
[Decapitate]
[Charging Strike]
[Hundred Blades]
[Blessed Light]
[Boon Signet]
[Amity]
[Depravity]
[Animate Flesh Golem] (just because it sees play dosnt mean it dosnt suck)
[Star Burst]
[Stone Sheath]
[Energy Boon]
[Ether Prism]
[Grenth's Grasp]
[Avatar of Balthazar]
and
Fast casting in Pve
and
The entire health degen/regen mechanic. its terrible compared to any other source of DPS/HPS and every degen/regen skill in the game is crap. its ridiculous. at least make this 3 hps/dps instead of 2.

it gives three effects:
holy damage: no one cares, because if you dont suck you're already using [Aura of Holy Might]
speed boost: almost totally useless in PvE. only needed for a short time if it ever is.
armor bonus: this is the only useful one nd if need armor great dwarf armor or conviction work just fine.
its not worth the elite slot when you have things like melandru, wounding, lyssa and dwanya.

What he said.
In all AoB can be replicated and then some using Aura of Holy Might, conviction, and a speed buff (which is near useless in PvE anyway, save for between battles :/)

Mmhh ok, three skills - one of which is a PvE-only skill - to replicate just one. Sub par, maybe, but "useless" is a bit too much.
Mind you I don't use it and I rarely play my derv anyway. Just asking.

The PvE-only skill also boosts your damage by about 25%.

That's not the point. You can use it along with any avatar.

It's not the fact that the effects of AoB can be replicated with other skills, it's the fact that TWO of the THREE effects aren't needed. If you wanted to deal holy damage, you'd have Aura of Holy Might already (which also boosts your damage output by up to 32DR).
Speed Boost isn't needed except maybe in Hard Mode, since mobs tend to not kite effectively. Even if they do, a snare (most are -50% movement speed) is far stronger than 33% IMS that only affects you.
So, you have effectively taken an elite that gives you +40 armor. Ask yourself, was that worth it?

Uh, no. Even at rank1, it boosts by 21 DR (Damage Rating). +20DR is +41.42% (sqrt2) extra damage. An increase in DR is exactly equal to a drop in AR (Armor Rating). What does this mean? Aura of Holy Might effectively drops opponents' armor by 21...32 (@R1-R12 Kurzick/Luxon)

I see your point.
How would you change it? What kind of benefits do you think this avatar should include?

I like the fact the elite people like the board warriors say Balthazar needs to be upgraded, yet all noob dervishes uses it.. Its probably the most used avatar.
So, PLEASE DONT buff it, if they do more people would use it.....and....no...noooooooooooooo!

The Blood Magic line.
Vampiric Spirit got a potentially useful change (and it was godly while the bug was in effect), but apart from that, it's pretty much forsaken.
