Default New Character Advice

I recently started playing GW:N with my ele/me. I sort of got bored of playing ele since it took so long to cast spells and the 4 elements drove me insane. Needless to say, I think i'm going to take a break from my ele. Now I want to focus on a damage dealing character for PvE. I am partial to frontline, midline, and support characters. I also need a character that works well in groups and not very complex. Please help me out!! Secondary professions are greatly appreciated.

Warrior as a main isnt that complex and is one of the best DPS classes and has great survival in pve Warrior secondary class has many options but many peoples favourite is Mesmer or Monk.

Cool

I definitely feel you on this one.

I am a Factions-born player, my first character was an Elementalist/Assassin. I liked the class, but as a factions-only player at the time, it was quite diluted when it came to a fierce nuker build, that was til I got the other campaigns. My favorite profession: Assassin/Ritualist - (A non-tanking, but shadow stepping reliability to take out non prime target casters and return so I dont die and not be a pain in the neck to the healers.)

IMO, my choice depending what class you are and since you dont fancy the e/me

Prophecies: N/MO

Factions: A/RT or A/R

Nightfall: Paragon/Mesmer

Warrior is the simplest of the characters to play, so it sounds like a perfect fit for what you're looking for.

Assassin. If there were damage charts, you'd be topping them, and you get to look cewl liek a ninja rawr.

Dervish is quite simple to play as well as you focus on attack skills and increased attack speed stances. If you dive into the enchantments and their various effects, I have a feeling you'll get flustered like you are with your elementalist.

Really any of the melee professions sound like they fit your bill. Warrior would be the one one to get you more groups I reckon.
