Necromancers tear up PvE due to their imba energy management. Both can farm well; 55 Necro, SV Necro, or 330 hp Rit. Necromancers can play a rit just as good as a rit, so I'd go with necromancer. But the Ritualist armor is so pretty! So go with a Necro unless you need pretty armor.

Yeah i play rit pretty much cus of all the cool armor.

Necro's are probably better but rit vabbian in sky blue is unbeatable imo .

They have different playstyles...
I like both, mostly play necro.
Have a look at pvxwiki (erk) see what the popular builds are, this will give you some idea about what you can play with em.

Praying to Grenth every day that we get a buff to binding rituals and [shelter] gets a reduced energy cost.

Necro's can run any Rt build not focused on spawning just as well as a Rt primary and have even more energy to fuel them.

Rt's have some of the coolest armours and animations though

A good way to choose is to compare a Rt minion bomber with a necro MM and choose which you prefer i guess. I personally prefer Rt for hybrid builds that have access to utility from other professions such as expel hexes or various monk hex removals.

Necro > PvE

*Imba energy management
*AoE weakness says gg melee
*Minion Bombers make mobs kerslode
*AP Curses Necro also makes mobs kerslode

Me thinks necro is your best choice

I do not know what profession is more fun to play for you, but especially if your are playing with NPCs, I would say take the Necro.

Besides the mentioned advantages, Ritualists cast their most powerful spells indirectly, which makes controlling your henchies often a bit more cumbersome than with a Necro.

Rt/N bombers ae better for humans. Necro primary bombers are better for heroes... youll never be able to target as fast or as well as livia.
