n/me looking for good pve build help plz!
I've been playing gw for about a month and half. I love this game, it has consumed all of my free time. But I'd like some help with a build that doesn't require beating the game or getting to ember light camp, for skillz. Plz send some suggestions for myself and others, hopfully iam not alone on this one.Yes I'am a noob.

do u only have proph?
how far r u?
it doesnt sound like u have that many skills at all
is it rite for me to assume u have no elite?
i'd prolly run death magic
[deathly swarm][animate bone horror][blood of the master]
and then wutever other death magic spells u have
r u a low lvl?
i'd recommend puttin all attribs into death magic, and then all spare into soul reaping
its not good to spread out attribs too much, especially at low lvls where attrib points r limited

Curses are you friend. A good standard build to use is:
[build prof=Necromancer Soul=12+1 Curses=12+1+1][no skill][Price of Failure][Enfeebling Blood][Weaken Armor][Desecrate Enchantments][Blood Ritual][no skill][Res Sig][/build]
Good things for the build would be [Spiteful Spirit], an easy to cap elite skill that is GREAT all throughout the game, [Arcane Echo] to recast some of your more powerful spells on another foe, such as [Spiteful Spirit] <3.

i would say that curses dun become good until the later parts of the game
and especially not until u cap [spiteful spirit]
[weaken armor] will practically have no effect on a lvl 10mob

Builds aren't set in stone, until he gets to higher level areas he can swap out Weaken Armor for something else.

Thanks for the help ppls. I'am lvl 6 and i like the game so much i had to buy fations, and nightfall as well. I was hoping for a necro build that i can use for the long hall.To get me to the end of prophecies. I'v been reading alot of the threads on builds, and it seems most builds are using skills i cant get from skill traders. So if you peps got any builds that use beginers skills for n/me that would be awsome. thanks for the time guys!

There's all the info on Spiteful Spirit, it's quite a ways off from where you are, but it's very useful.

If you haven't made it till the Shiverpeaks yet, I'd suggest you spec into blood magic for a while. The DD effect is actually pretty nice. Shadow Strike is pretty good there. It also opens the door for a self heal, [Blood Renewal], though it can get tricky to use.
Don't MM with a Mesmer secondary, especially cuz you can't trust Alesia.
/fistshake
However, Deathly Swarm and Putrid Explosion are very fun skills. Just make sure you land a putrid before the Plague Devourers do. It's pretty epic against Charr Warriors cuz they're n00bs with Frenzy.
The Mes secondary provides interrupts, but they don't come until later in the game. You can purchase them from a Priest of Balthazar in you Guild Hall (if you have one) If you don't have a guild, then you're just gonna have to tough it out.
Overall, stick with a Blood/Death hybrid early in the game. Curses aren't particularly effective until later in the game.

oh, also if u go into the random arenas or zaishen or any of the pvp areas u earn balthazar faction, with this you can unlock skills, weapons, items and heroes for your pvp chars. The good thing about it is that once you have enough faction to buy a skill, that skill is unlocked on your account, which means you can buy it from any skill trainer in that campaign without having to to get to ember light camp or other places where you can only find the skill. This also unlocks them for your heroes once you get them.
Btw, this only works for nomral skills, not elite skills and it doesnt unlock any upgrades you may have bought with the factions for your pve chars, only your pvp.

In NM, enchantments aren't really a problem. Perhaps in HM, but [Rip Enchantment] is better.
I'd fill the rest of the bar with EB and the like.

Enfeebling Blood should be a staple on any PvE curses build.
Apart from that, pick the rest of your weapons.

Play random arena until you get 1k faction, unlock the skill u want to have on you character then buy a tome in LA and use it on ur pve char. Best way to get the 8 skills u want on ur pve char without going all the way to ember light camp (although its a bit pricey for elite skills).
