Default super armor

i know the terra tank farming build can use super high armor to reduce damage to nothing, but can a war farm with like 5 blessed, or stalward, and like 3 superior runes of abostion? maybe 4. it would be cool if you could protect your self against harm with just armor. oh ya and armor stuff on your weopon too?

The insignias don't stack either.

Absorption do stack, considering that they don't effect the armor as a whole but only the individual place they're put on, as in you only get the absorption effect if you get hit in the chest if you have the absorption rune on the chest armor piece.

Anyways, yes won't work, bad idea. All your attributes will be low, your health will be very low and that's gg basically.

Wrong, one absorption rune is all you need as the effect is global.

You mean wouldn't it be good if warriors were the way they used to be?

like when knights armor stacked and reduced global damage and armor buff skills stacked

the damage system in guild wars is a lot more complex than armor=damage reduction

theres physical, elemental and armor ignoring damage.

but to sum up play ursan with armor of salvation = invinci lol

(that was sarcasm before some clever troll flames)

/sigh

Runes of Absorbtion have a global effect, they reduce all physical damage by 1-3, regardless of hit location.

Knight's Insignias only reduce damage when hit at the location that they are worn.

Two Runes of Absorbtion will not stack, you only get the benefit of one, the highest.

The damage reduction from a Knight's Insignia and a Rune of Absorbtion do stack, but only at the location that the Insignia is worn.

Sentinel Armor+13 Strength+Max Shield with 10 armor vs x+Dolyak Signet is the most armor you can get as a warrior...
you can always use stuff like Armor of Earth or Kinetic Armor instead of Dolyak but than'd you'd be an even bigger F A I L U R E than you already are if you play Warrior as a TANK...

I still think that absorbtion should be returned to ALL damage not just physical.

Full insignias + Superior rune only = -6dmg per hit...thats really small. (-8 if you get a -2 stance/enchanted shield -5 is just to random to count on)

Just compare that to say..[Stoneflesh Aura]

so say blessed does it only effects that piece of armor? like it doesn't stack all around so 3 blessed does mean +30 armor while enchanted it reads +10 on that piece?

The +10 is only applied on the piece the insignia is on. So no, 3 Blessed insignias does not give you +30 but +10 on those 3 specific armor pieces the insignias are on.

And as mentioned, multiple Absorption runes are pointless, only one will take effect.

Bringing an imbagon would give more armour.

But then again, if you're bringing an imbagon, why would you bring a tank...
