Default The 1 second Discord for PvE team?

Hi guys with the PvE version only 1 second, I got an idea.

Player Necromancer(you)

Putrid Bile, Enfeeble, Discord

Hero Necro

Discord + MM stuff

Hero Necro

Discord + resto rit spells

I know this is really vague but will it work in PvE? I tried it out at Isle of the Nameless and after hex/enfeeble the target, they go down fast. Does it work or does it fail?

It's PvE counterpart is alot stronger. Simply because of the fact it's not elite and it's not as conditional.

Well, it's good for single target damage. That's why they nerfed it it the first place, cause of hero spikes in pvp, but not sure it's that useful in pve. Necro's got a ton of good elites, not sure it's worth it to build your team around single target spiking. Though if there are no corpse's around, low mob sizes (mobs of <4) or guys you don't want to AoE (titans) then it could be pretty good.

I have a few builds with 4 necros that worked fine with 2s cast discord, time to see how the update buffed them!

Tyla, heroes can't use PvE skills, so that's more a buff to them. I agree that it doesn't change anything on a player tho
Plus on a well rounded build you overload with conditions and spammable hexes anyway, so discord is pretty much the same as necrosis

Yeah the change is great for heroes. Though if you wanna run 4necs all with Discord, I see nothin wrong with that - you can hit 800+dmg in less than 5 secs.

There's plenty of AoE in the Death line. Putrid Bile is a good basic one. One Discord nec can be an MM with Death Nova. Or if you'd rather not use an MM, Putrid Explosion is a good aoe dmg spell.

I started using 3 Discord necs on my para since the update. One of them uses Weaken armor as the condition which combines well with Chest Thumper. The hex/condition req can be annoying when things you're fighting huge but quick-dying mobs, like the afflicted in Cantha.

In that case, it maybe good with an Assassin Promise build on the player.

make ur curse nec run [icy veins] instead to prevent too much spread of attribs and to do more aoe

YA so i tried this, I ended up using Discord+ making them all MMs(using 1 minion each). I think I will have to modify this because i love the 24 minion army and all but once i get to the max number of minions, the life sac to heal them is usually around 250 and that can b deadly in a battle. Also, the caller has tons of work to do. By the time your heroes target the foe, it's dead and you need to b targeting the next one already.
