NOTE: Sorry if I am breaking the forum rules. On a more serious note though, this guide is to help people farm Balthazar faction from the Zaishen Elite.

What is the zaishen elite?
The zaishen elite is basically a pumped up version of Zaishen Challenge.

So how do I get there?
You need to complete 5 different team Zaishen challenges (which means killing 5 different Zaishen teams in Zaishen Challenge but it doesn't need to be consecutive).

What's the differences?
First of all, unlike Zaishen Challenge (which we will abbreiviate as ZC), the groups you fight are pretty much random. So we're going to assume they have rezzes, have powerful attacks and can coordinate spikes, right? So what we need is Frozen Soil (prophecies), some kind of spike heal and some kind of defensive enchant wall.

How hard is it?
It depends on if you can do enough damage to kill the healer AND the other enemies without Frozen Soil dying, withstand physical assaults (IWAY warriors) and heavy spike damage (Obsidian Flame elementalists)

Since when did Arcane Echo become an Assassin skill?

you didn't see the last update?? Arcane echo is a non profession specific skill now. like res sig. isn't it??? has to be.

To the OP, I could suggest you to toss in a few orders into your bar for extra physical damage, possibly barbs, followed by a hero lock on that target.

this seems to be way to slow i run myself with the triple echo dust trap build, then 3 SF ele's each with thier own spirit (FS, Brambles, Predatory Season, etc, etc) drops the teams in 3-5 seconds

Well, as the OP said: any contribution is appreciated, so could you post the complete builds perhaps? The more triple hero builds, the better. All I do now is join Ranger trapper parties, which can get a tad boring after a while.

I have a much easier and much faster build for you in the Zaishen Elite.
You - Ele/Ran - [frozen soil][deep freeze][fire attunement][savannah heat][searing heat][teinai's heat][fireball][serpents quickness]
1 hero - Ele/Ran - [deep freeze][fire attunement][savannah heat][searing heat][teinai's heat][fireball][serpents quickness][liquid flame]
2 hero - Ele/Ran - [serpents quickness][fire attunement][savannah heat][searing heat][teinai's heat][fireball][liquid flame][fire storm]

Sup fire + head and Sup Energy w/ Radiant on all armors. Max fire @ 16 / 11+3 energy with remainder into Wilderness (whatever that ends up equalling) + Staff with +5E / +5E / +30H for max energy. Sup Vigor on all as well if you care.

This is too easy. Attune up at the start. Gates open, drop Frozen Soil and then hit everyones SQ when the other team appears on Mini-Map. Set hero with Deep Freeze to target the closest with it. Right as he casts DF, space bar attack that target to have the team drop their AOE. (set all heros to attack btw)

This usually kills within 15 seconds or better. I've gone 8 and 9 flawless before I start to just not get anymore faction so I quit. Resses are really pointless here. If you have a death then you are pretty much screwed anyways as your snare-AOE trap didn't work too well, or you screwed up Frozen.

The teams to strategize on are mainly the IWAY and the mixed team. The IWAY groups you just need to be careful that you are targeting the warriors and not the pets by accident. The Mixed Team (wars / rans / necros / and messies) are the hardest because the do not all ball up. You need to ignore the warriors and go after the mesmers and necros first, then work toward the rangers and warriors. The second DF on your bar is for them since they like to split up. All the other teams (trappers and ele spikers mainly) are cake. The eles should never even get off a spike and the trappers should all just blow up in the snare.

This build will farm you your 6k faction in about 15 minutes or less if you're paying attention. Have fun.

I take searing flames in the optional, and replace the mark of rodgort on myself with cry of frustration for the ranger group.

Adult lose the res sigs for something with dmg

Best for Challenge get all Trapper Grp. Trap the hell out of the other team works every time. If you die so what you can just go again until you get 6k Faction.

Best group is 1 trapper (you), 2 nukers and a prot monk.

Knock stuff over very fast - only guys who may give you a bit of grief are large groups of the ele's since they spike quite well.

just run massive aoe or trappers, here u go no need of particular builds, its pretty match a waste of time trying other builds, they will get owned sooner or later , if u run massive aoe take something that inflicts cracked armor and then epidemic that is for rangers that have more armor against elemental damage or warriors that have alrdy lot of armor
