I guess many of the above have grown tired of the almighty DSlash Godmode build. If I, for some strange reason, decided to take a lesser build - then I'd probably use [[Shock] with an [[Eviscerate]/[[Executioner's Strike] build.

To be perfectly honest there are very few secondary profession skills that I have NOT run on Crom....including Meteor Shower and Maelstrom
But most of that was in normal mode, for hard mode I rarely use any secondary prof skills.

In terms of PvE, I really don't understand why you would run Shock or a Shadow Step - which some people seem to be implying.
Pretty much Conjures or bust, no reason to go outside of the Warrior line for anything else (I don't even like Enduring Harmony much). Why take Shock when you have Brawling Headbutt? Splinter, condi and hex removal should all be on casters.
Others, such as the Mantras or Hex Breaker are conditionally useful - but definately not staple skills.

I like using shock in PvE along with frenzy on the Kournan Priests and Opressed as well as SF Storm D'jinn.

That depends...hench monks suck, alot of people's hero monks suck, RA usually never has them, and even if you have monks it is helpful.

It's not helpful, helpful is owning face.
I guess most people on the forum expect you to have good friends/guildies to play monk, or at least a fine hero.

Even as a self-heal it's bad.
It wastes a quarter of your skillbar just for healing, as well as a spec into an otherwise useless line. And warrior skillbars should be too packed with good skills to waste 1/4 slots on heals.
For comparison, [natural [email protected]] is one skill, fast, cheap, strong enough for what you need self-heals for, and lets you use the totally awesome [harrier's [email protected]] as well.
Even in the warrior lines, better stuff is available. A really low-spec [healing [email protected]] is pretty good - 104 health on a 12+1+1, 11+1, 6+1 split.
